Grasshopper Glue

Grasshopper Glue is the name of at least two exotic hybrid strains. While one is reportedly a balanced hybrid, the other leans more heavily on its indica characteristics. Due to differing information about the two, they’re easy to distinguish based on genetics, effects, and their respective terpene profiles.

Origin 1: Indica-Leaning Hybrid (Grasshopper Farms)

The most widely available variety of Grasshopper Glue was developed, appropriately enough, by Grasshopper Farms from an unspecified three-way crossing of Chem’s Sister, Sour Dubb, and Chocolate Diesel. Dominant terpenes include caryophyllene, limonene, humulene, and bisabolol, so you can expect flavors and aromas of spice, citrus, and wood, with some lingering sweet floral notes. Grasshopper’s variety tends to be sleepy, recommended as a potent night-time strain.

Origin 2: Unverified / Small-Batch Hybrid (Unknown Breeder)

The second, more exotic Grasshopper Glue variety is hard to trace back to an original breeder, but most sources report a cross of Chemdawg and GG4 for its ancestry. Reviews suggest a more minty diesel aroma compared to other ancestries, though you may still detect the spicy notes of caryophyllene. Fans report mostly balanced effects, including a strong initial boost of energy and creativity, alongside a gentle but relaxing physical high.
