Candy Chrome

Candy Chrome is a hybrid with a few different origin stories, each variety coming from a different stock and different breeders.

Origin 1: Candy Chrome by Tiger Trees

The first version of Candy Chrome (spelled with a "y") is an indica-dominant cross of Cotton Candy OG with a Chemdawg D and Sour Diesel hybrid. It was a limited release by Tiger Trees, a Portland, Oregon company. Founded by Lynch, a legendary West Coast breeder, Tiger Trees eventually evolved into Compound Genetics. Little is known about their Candy Chrome's effects or aromatic profile.

Origin 2: Candi Chrome by Grandiflora Genetics

There is a second Chrome hybrid that also deserves mention — this time, it's spelled Candi Chrome with an "i." This one is a mostly indica cross of Grandi Candy and Permanent Marker released by LIT Farms. It's a high-THC, high-terpene experience with a sweet and sour flavor profile. More than once, its aroma has been said to smell like a sweet bag of candy.

Origin 3: Candy Chrome by Unknown

Finally, Candy Chrome — sometimes called Candy Chrome #27 — is a Runtz and The Menthol cross. This is more of a balanced hybrid with big diesel fumes and a sweet candy-like flavor. The nugs are heavily coated in resin and trichome frost and produce relaxing and arousing effects when smoked.
