Blueberry Limeade has more than one genetic story attached to the name, but one version finally comes with receipts instead of guesswork.

Origin 1: Joint Custody Seeds developed its documented Blueberry Limeade line in collaboration with DabbsForDads using a lime-heavy Cactus Breath F2 #13 female crossed with Joint’s long-held Blueberry male. That original pairing produced the Blueberry Limeade seeds released in the 2023 Blueberry Box Set, with the current F2 generation carrying the same blueberry-and-lime direction forward. The profile stretches beyond fruit into menthol, fuel, skunk, musk, and earth, giving the lime enough grit to keep it from reading soft or sugary.

Origin 2: A separate Blueberry Limeade has circulated with no confirmed breeder or dependable parentage. Some lineage claims connect it to Blueberry and lime- or lemon-forward genetics, but none are documented strongly enough to treat as settled. This version is consistently described through aroma instead: blueberry, lime, tart citrus, sugar, and berry, with earthy notes underneath.

Across both versions, the blueberry-lime contrast does most of the talking. Some expressions push ripe fruit and citrus zest, while others pull harder toward skunk, fuel, earth, or a cool menthol edge. The best cuts keep the berry dark and full while the lime stays sharp enough to cut straight through it.

Session reports generally land in balanced-hybrid territory. An upbeat, happy head change often arrives first, followed by a steadier body calm that takes some weight off the pace without immediately ending the conversation. The documented Joint Custody line can also show measurable CBD, adding another variable to how individual phenotypes land.

Joint Custody Seeds’ Blueberry Limeade began with Cactus Breath F2 #13 × Joint’s Blueberry and now exists as an F2 line. The breeder selected the Cactus Breath female from a 25-seed population for vigor, yield potential, lime-forward aroma, and its ability to handle substantial environmental stress before crossing it with a Blueberry male already used extensively in the breeder’s other projects.

The current F2 is a regular photoperiod line with a reported flowering time of 60–70 days. Plants typically double in size after the flip, so topping, training, and canopy planning can help keep stretch under control before flower development gets heavy.
