I don’t frequent this dispensary often but they happened to have a strain that I wanted and everyone else was out till the next day. The price listed was more than two times the amount that some dispensaries sell it for but what the hell im leaving town later today. I was also thinking I’ll get the senior discount, but no being 67 isn’t considered a senior at varda they upped it to 70. That was the last straw that broke it. Money grubbing is what they’ve become. Go to the dispensaries in El Monte way better prices and older customers are given the sr discount.

From Pasadena I usually commute to WTC in studio city because they are clean, reputable, and never too long of a wait. But I think I found my new regular spot right in my own back yard at Varda. First off parking is a breeze, Plenty of street parking at the front of the store on Colorado and there is additional parking in the back also accessible through Colorado. Walking in there is a security guard that will check your ID. For the most part the guy was doing his job, didn't really greet customers, didn't really give off a friendly vibe but not a hostile one either. After getting checked in I met with a gentleman named Josiah who took the time to ask if it was my first time in the store and showed me around the sales floor. Showed me the collection of staff favorites displayed in the cases and after telling him what I wanted he proceeded to show me what I wanted. Bought a quarter bag and a bong. Thanks Josiah I'll be back for more.

I just want to begin by saying - WOOOT WOOT Pasadena finally got their first legal shop!! Congratulations to y’all. Nonetheless, this shop has a wonderful vibe. Right off the bat I was welcomed and treated with the utmost respect. The staff are really nice, they know their stuff for sure, and I get a feeling like everyone is genuinely passionate about what they do. I learned a lot from this nice young lady at the register, she even stopped cleaning to help me. The customer is definitely the priority. As for the shop itself, it’s really clean and they are following covid protocol efficiently. This looks like it’s gonna have to be my go to from here on out. Bye bye trap$hop. Peace !!
