atmosphere sucks, bud tenders rushing you, and depending on who you deal with at this place, you will either leave extremely happy or terribly disappointed. buds are OK, dry but Ok, never have the buds I want in the quantity I want, it's never just walk in and buy what I came to get or buy what is advertised it's always " well you can buy this kind if you buy and ounce, but you can't buy it in a quarter" or its " so we only have these two in ounces and the rest is in quarters and eighths, but we don't have either of these two in anything less then an ounce" .... I have drove to this place 2 times prepared to spend no less then $125 on an ounce which is the max amount I can buy and left spending absolutely nothing due to all this type of nonsense, PURE on Bannock is much easier to deal with.. plus you can an ounce of flower for $99 + tax and you can mix and match any kind for no extra charge
If they have Chem n tonic, definitely grab an oz for $100... other than that, the bud is below average and customer service is pretty bad too

I go in once every week at least to get the 2 grams for $50 craft panacea deal because that is an insane deal that no one else has i see places charging $45 a gram for the EXACT same thing lol. The budtender who helps me a lot I think his name is john is awesome, he legit went through every single box of wax they had to see if they had something for me. Always takes the time to explain it and recommend it, the other bud tender who helps me is awesome as well i am unsure of his name but the customer service there has been freaking amazing. Also before I got my card the deals and wax on the rec side were awesome, I was so happy to find this place. I definitely would recommend to anyone.
dude told me over the phone the wrong time to buy med bud n when I got there oh I'm sorry dude... dude your self chump see if I ever go bak n last time they gave me the wrong one oh my bad that's all they say

On Saturday, I found myself going through a dry spell from around 9:17 am until 11:37 when I walked into Pig n Whistle. Unbeknownst to me, the uncomfortable sensation I was experiencing at the time later revealed itself to be the Clap, or gonorrhea which is very easily contracted on Colfax. But the Sour Amnesia herb and the Starkiller cartridge I picked up almost made the gonorrhea symptoms disappear. The Starkiller cartridge came in extra handy while I was in the waiting room at Planned Parenthood waiting for my shot of penicillin. If you're going to pick anything up on Colfax, I highly recommend only stopping at the Pig n Whistle dispensary. Today I grabbed some Mother's Milk. It is so funky!!!
Used to be my favorite flower spot in Denver. Embarrassed to admit how many oz's I've gotten here but today was beyond my worst experience. Bought awesome buds there yesterday but today was told they were only showing their samples of buds(not the buds you walk out with) today so you really had to roll the dice.... first 3 strains I looked at were all shake, got sick of tryna get that passed on me and walked out with just an 8th and it was still shake...
Shaking my head full of buyers remorse.

I've been buying products from this dispensarie since they had a different name and a different location back when you didn't even have recreational. The staff used to be very knowledgeable about everything on the shelves thc %, which edibles were best etc. Not anymore now it's always someone new I've never seen and they always seem to be less than 100% when answering my questions or just don't know and instead of walking to someone else and asking they give me some half assed response. I've always been able to mix and match my ounces because I don't much like smoking a whole ounce of one straight, but it's obviously the best bang for your buck! Now even if I try the yo just do a 1/2 of this and a 1/2 of that they ask like I'm asking for a liver transplant and the donor is there child. It's obvious the owner has lost sight that the reason they've been successful is us the customer. Which I understand that things change but you raise the prices and then the quality of service goes down.
When they have Oger in, GET IT! Best bud I've had around. Great prices! $25 1/8 and they always have a good selection. The parking is dumb though. Can't even park in what is technically the front of the building, off Colfax. You have to park on the side but other than that the process is easy and simple. Although they have nothing for loyal customers.
This place has the best price out there. The only draw back is the product has a chemical hint and not nearly as smooth as other shop's.
