After hearing about Eddie and Jen's journey to Oregon, I was intrigued and felt drawn to visit these cannabis connoisseurs certified by the well-respected Gangier program. I was unable to make it into the store myself, so when a friend was passing through Medford, I suggested they drop in to The Herbsman and make the connection for me. My friends arrived just before opening and we're treated warmly by Jen as the first customers of the day. Eddie busy in the back came forward to cultivate customer service experience to the top shelf. Having a gone ga walk you through the sensory experiences well explaining the flavors nuances and experiences each strain might offer a consumer. This is Top Shelf customer service par excellence!! I received about a dozen cultivars to fortify my collection with sour tart bitter piney profiles suiting my medicinal needs. Whether you're a long time medical user or new to the cannabis scene, The Herbsman, has the customer service and products you need.

Great customer service and the best flower around

Anthony was one of the best and most knowledgeable budtenders I’ve ever had, when I went in it wasn’t too busy, and we started talking about terpenes. He pulls out a box with 10 pure terpenes and starts showing us them and then bringing down a strain with those terpenes. It was an excellent experience and I left with some of the best flower i’ve had as far as well rounded effects and price, and left knowing more about weed than I did before. I would recommend this place to anyone it was excellent.

Unsafe, NOT a handicap friendly business at all

Building is very unsafe for any handicapped customer. The parking lot is very small and does not allow room for me to safely drop the ramp for my wheelchair gate so we had to park at the business next door and let the kid working there know we would only be a few minutes in their parking spot so we did not get towed. When we finally get inside The herbsmen the floor is sloped at a very steep angle and aimed directly at the glass display counter with only a dirty rug thrown on the painted concrete floor not secured with double sided tape anywhere so slipping is a HUGE issue for someone on crutches. I mentioned this to the employees working that day but they seemed as if they couldn't care less about our safety issues and more about what items we wanted to purchase. The flower and cartridge we bought from there were good but we will definitely not be going to shop there in the future.

I hate to have a negative review like this (this is Eddie, the owner), but you bring up some things that I will definitely take a look at. One of my staff remembers opening the door for someone on crutches, but I haven't been able to figure out when your experience took place exactly. Nevertheless, I will check into the rugs and potential slipping hazards. Yes, our parking lot is a little small, but we have a nice handicapped spot right up front. If that doesn't work, we are always happy to provide curbside service for you as well. Since you reviewed us on Weedmaps, I'm assuming you have access to our menu as well. Simply give us a call and let us know what you need and we'll get it ready for you. We provide this service for customers who find coming in from the car difficult and are happy to anytime we are asked. This building is nearly 100 years old and was built long before accessibility laws and regulations. It has been retrofitted, but it does have challenges due to its age. That's not something we have any control over, which is why we are happy to make other accommodations for you at any time. I sincerely hope that you read this and are willing to give us another chance to earn a better review from you. As you said, we've got great flower and would love to keep putting that in your hands.
