Always so polite and always hooking me up. They never let me tip and I can't seem to give back their 10% off. I stay loyal here because they are loyal to me. Thank you guys
Bait and switch..... showed me one thing I got home and had something completely different....and honestly their weed is weak as hell NEVER going back Bye Felicia
At first this looks like a nice, we'll run place. However it's not. New staff (except management) every time I went in, and who can say if the price you read on the menu is what your going to pay- got a pack of pre-rolls one day, $7... Next time in, $10 for the same product, lot # and all. Then I went back in one more time as I'd not found a better place yet, and it was $8. Menu out front said $10, but who am I to argue? Flowers never fresh, and if they don't have the 1/8th you want, they sell you 4 gram jars for a higher price, and don't bother asking if you want something else? I don't see this as a store that will last for very long, and I wish the managers a safe trip HOME to North Carolina ~ bye bye
Always hooks me up. They don't take tips. Love this place

Anyone try the Panama Red or Cush, Green Crack?
Sahara has a very calming vibe, like that of a classy jewelry store combined with a spa. I went to the back and was overwhelmed by their selection. Much of the bud did not have a very strong aroma. I tried the granddaddy purple, which is one of my favorite strains. It was decent, but a bit dry. It has the dank deep taste, but the grape aftertaste is lacking. I enjoyed the nice relaxing effect of this Indica.
Flo - Flora Vega: Flo's family lineage is royalty. Her breeders the best of the best. Flo and her four sisters were born cannabis history was made. Flo is strong, potent medicine, while her benefits-effects are "light" in ways that are not distracting nor in the way of my day. I find Flo's sativa side brightens my spirits and gives me a boost in energy in a calm zen focused sort of way without feeling pushed nor hurried to get up out and moving. Her indica side provides me with, again, light while effective, effects-benefits that are comforting, soothing to my muscles, I will best put as makes my body feel "nice". The balance between Flo's sativa and indica sides I find "very nice". I feel Flo is good medicine for stress, depression, headache, boredom, lack of interest, aches and pains of cold and flu, and/or just feeling "off" as I have medicated with Flo on those occasions and Flo improves my wellness through the storms each and every time. Flo's aroma and flavor are light dominated by taste of black hashish following straight along Flo strain descriptions found in print and online....... Flo and her sisters, along with the breeders who gave these fabulous girls life, set themselves a solid place in cannabis history while opening doors we are still using today. In thanks and respect for the breeder's exceptional work, patience, and tenacity, I share with you, copied directly from Dutch Passion Seeds site, a bit of history and story of cannabis medicine what has been bringing wellness to countless millions of patients for nearly 20 years and brought color to all our lives....... "Pretty in Pink - a Festival of Colors - GENETIC HISTORY and BACKGROUND: In 1998, Dutch Passion launched a cooperation with breeder DJ Short, adopting his "Blue Family" strains, including Blueberry, Blue Velvet, Blue Moonshine, Blue Heaven and Flo. These genetics were totally new to the Dutch and widely also European market, blowing a fresh breeze into the landscape of cannabis genetics which was heavily dominated by the Amsterdam gene pool (Skunk, Northern Lights, Haze) and White Widow. The Blue Family brought amazing new aromas and tastes, also attracting the growers with its fancy colours. Flo is one of the most charismatic and fascinating strains within the Blue Family, consisting of 60% sativa and 40% indica genetics - which means the highest sativa content of all Blue Family strains. Most of Flo's sativa genetics come from an Oaxacan (Mexican) sativa, the other from a Thai sativa, and the indica genetics are contributed by an Afghani indica strain. These three truebred parental lines represent the genetic framework of the Blue Family, all of its members have their own specific genotype within these three genetic cornerstones. Already in the 70ies, DJ Short had collected, selected and refined the original landraces Oaxacan, Thai and Afghani. Real raw and mighty cannabis genetics, powered by mother nature. The Blue Family members clearly express this vital background. CULTIVATION TEST: In 1999, I got my hands on Flo seeds and made a late-start product cultivation with it, starting five seeds in mid June. They all germinated well and were grown under fluorescents at first for two weeks. Then they were acclimatised to sunlight for some days and finally transplanted to the product plot, directly in to the ground. Two plants were female and three male. Flowering startet much later than expected (at the beginning of September), it soon became clear that the plants were far away from producing the first ripe buds in the third or fourth week of September, as stated by Dutch Passion. However, the fact that the plants were much shorter in the vegetative state than common might have played a role in this context, as the plant's readiness to flower increases with its age. At the end of October, the plants had to be harvested due to the bad wheather, about 10-14 days too early for the remaining buds (some had already been picked). It is a special feature of Flo that the buds will not ripen at the same time so that it can be multi-harvested over a period of time. The colours of these product Flo plants were looking awesome, with an intensely pink shade leaf colouration and violet to blue-red flower leafs and calyxes. In addition, the buds were covered by lots of nicely sparkling crystals, giving off a unique sweet and spicy smell, highly individual. The best thing: It exactly tasted like it smelled - a phenomenon that is quite rare in the world of cannabis strains. The Flo's intense Nepalese Temple Hash-like taste was a unique long-lasting fullmouth sensation, the flavouring agents of Flo copiously appended themselves to the taste bulbs and remained there for a long time. Also they high could satisfy any cannasseur's whishes, providing a long consistent flow with both motivational sativa and stoney indica effects, a strong, complex high. A grower recently told me that he has successfully germinated two out of four Flo seeds that were seven years old and stored in the cellar at room temperature the last five years. So obviously Flo seeds seem to have a long shelf-life also."
Ion very impressed. I've been in some let's just call them non customer service filled people. Bud tender rocks.
Cotton Candy Kush - LVHG
While browsing the medicine at Sahara Wellness my eyes catch Cotton Candy Kush. Something inside me says I am familiar with this strain, but what??? I ask about Cotton Candy mentioning I think I have experience with the strain but not certain. Ms Brenda smiles and says "Just came in". I reply "cool, I will try a $10 gram and check her out".
I get home, settle in, then open up my gram packet to closer study the two lovely, green, orange-haired, frosty, nuggets inside. My nose is hit with a sharp, green, grassy aroma that reminds me of something familiar from the past, but where??? I pull up her Leafy to see what is up. Cotton Candy Kush's dad is Power Plant, a strain I have experience, which answers the aroma mystery. Cotton Candy Kush's mom is Lavender what adds sweet floral to her scent that when I close my eyes and think cotton candy this medicine does smell like cotton candy
Cotton Candy Kush - Indica-dominate Hybrid cross of Lavender (Soma Seeds Amsterdam creation, known as an indica, indica-dominate Skunk using diverse genetics from around the globe. A relaxing, mellow, feel good strain, with strong medical benefits) x an old friend... Power Plant (Power Plant - Dutch Passion Seeds Amsterdam. Long stabilized almost pure landrace sativa from Africa. Strong, inspirational, day brightener, without anxiety nor paranoia)
[ I will interject here: I find African strains such as Power Plant, Durban Poison, Swazi Gold, and most African genetics I have experienced thus far to be effective for use in cannabis medicine. When using African landrace genetic medically I do not find the anxiety, racy, stressed, "far-out" "trippy" feeling of some of hybrid sativa meds that keep patients away from benefits-effects of sativa meds. The benefits-effects of these strains follow straight along the line of what we are told about hippies smoking pot. African sativas provide me with an almost immediate improvement in attitude. It is difficult not to smile medicating with African sativa. Many times smiles what turn into fits of giggling. I experience an overall boost in wellness where whatever pains that are there I do not care. I feel good about myself with connection to everything around me. My stress become replaced with increased caring, kindness, and empathy for everything but me. African sativas usually give me mean munchies and the food tastes amazing. When the uplifting benefits-effects wear off they are replaced with benefits-effect of relaxed, tired, drifting off into deep, restful sleep.]
Cotton Candy Kush - Las Vegas Herbal Growers - return
With my first inhale I feel a relaxed sense of relaxed calm come over my body. The smoke is smooth & soft, with a sweet grassy flavor, leaving a dark hashy aftertaste on my tongue. With a few more pulls of the pipe I feel more aware, happy than I am, and thoughts of what I am going to do next after this review, pipe, and cup of coffee run out. The stiffness of the morning chills loosening up and I take a big stretch.
I’m thinking with a bit more LVHG Cotton Candy Kush I can take a nap if I like. Good meds for watching movie/reading book/and the like, when true intent is drifting off to sleep. I am chill, unbothered, in positive spirit, thinking possibly a walk to someplace with a view to enjoy some one-on-one with nature. On another side, I find Cotton Candy Kush to have the feel of good medicine for a snowed in morning, with fireplace, coffee, stew on the wood stove, wrapped in blankets, day.
AMA Baker’s Batch - Cracker Jack
I like to make my own cannabis medicines such as infused cannabis oils and medible. Like many of use using cannabis medicine, I am still unable to work with fixed disability benefits as my only income. Thanks to both Sahara Wellness & Alternative Medical Association I have found top quality medical grade cannabis at below bargain shelf prices. The AMA Baker’s Batch. 14 grams of AMA’s clean, potent, effective cannabis leftovers, smalls, trimmings, for cannabis medicine making that is clean & crystal covered enough I am medicating with bowls of it while writing this. I have made medicine and medicated with other strains of AMA Baker’s Batch. All have been the same quality and made excellent medicine.
This review is Cracker Jack
Cracker Jack - Sativa-dominate Skunk hybrid cross of Cush “Green Crack” (American sativa-dominate Skunk know for providing benefits-effects mood elevation, clarity of focus, all over feel good, get ’er done groove) x Jack Herer (world renown sativa dominate, reputed to be "Red Skunk", bred originally by Sensi Seeds Amsterdam in honor of legendary hemp-cannabis activist Jack Herer author Emperor Wears No Clothes. A sativa-dominate Haze-Skunk-Indica cross known for providing benefits-effects increased sense of wellbeing, creative clarity, warm body buzz, inspirational thought provoking mind)
At first glance this batch of AMA Cracker Jack Baker’s Batch looks like a bit of ground up leaf material mixed into a jar of kief. At second look, it turns out whatever part of AMA’s processing these “scraps” come from, this Cracker Jack Baker’s Batch is just that... tiny ground cannabis leaves covered with orange-tan kief with a sprinkle of little orange cannabis pistils. I purchased this medicine to make infused oil to use as a mood brightener against cold weather transition and an unavoidable life’s tension event. Just holding this ready to weigh out for making medicine, ready to decarb and dump into a baked goods mix as is, ready to roll (pun intended), sack of meds has already brightened my day
I get home and open the sack. The aroma is outstanding. Sweet like candy with a spicy-green edge to the strong, enticing aroma. I dump out a pile and twist up a spliff. Dry inhaling is sweet like chewing a blade of fresh green grass on a warm sunny day. I light up the med, inhale, and my tongue is covered with a coating of sugar-like sweetness like a sweet Skunk and a peppery Skunk are chopped up and mixed into a pile of kief
The effects come on quickly, first noticed by my state of wellness changed from "maybe I’ll take a nap" into a stretch with ahhh deep inhale & exhale and the thought "if I am going to see the sun go down when I go out and about walking I better get into the shower like right away"
I find AMA Cracker Jack Baker’s Batch excellent medicine at a great price. At 24% THC this is strong medicine. Cracker Jack is a sativa-dominate strain made from sativa-dominate strains. For those who are sensitive to high energy strains I do not find AMA Cracker Jack to be as anxiety-paranoia provoking nor “racy” as are some other cannabis strains known for providing energetic, uplifting benefits-effects.
The high effects are noticeable with this cannabis medicine. I experienced clearer brighter vision, above baseline sense of wellbeing, with desire to find something interesting to do. I also experienced a slight elevation in heart rate. I felt a bit of altered balance that may be uncomfortable to patients sensitive to vertigo, dizziness, and/or patients with motion sickness and loss of balance conditions, especially in larger doses
I find I have little to no appetite for food with AMA Cracker Jack Baker’s Batch. I can eat when I want to and if, it has been some time since I ate, I notice I am hungry without any strong desire nor urgency to eat
I find, even though Cracker Jack has the up qualities of strong sativa lineage, when I did not keep physically active it does not take very much time nor very much Cracker Jack before she knocked me out.
I find AMA Cracker Jack to have excellent mental pain management benefits-effects. My pain, that may be smoothed out with a strong warm indica/indica-dominate cannabis strain, while my pains are still here, as long as I keep busy I find it easier than usual to push the pain away and get onto the tasks at hand while medicating with Cracker Jack
I feel, starting with small dose in moderation to judge personal response to benefits effects, AMA Cracker Jack is a potent, effective, sweet smelling, sweet tasting, sweet medicine, that can bring out the sun with a boost in wellness to get into the shower and get out and enjoy the sun before it goes down
