In addition, we offer a 5% student discount to patients enrolled at San Jose State University, Evergreen, Foothill, De Anza, Stanford and UCSC. Must present student identification at the time of donation.

We would go into countless clubs in the bay area, especially San Jose, and realized that no matter where we went, we were unable to find consistency and quality! The medication was over priced, over rated, and premium medication was mid grade at best. We go out of our way to bring you top quality medication at every price rage. We care about our patients and offer a variety of services and products to assist in the treatment of your condition. We are a non-profit organization that is based on the belief that our patients' needs are of the utmost importance. Prices and everything else are perfect at purple lotus, but watching how management treats their employees and patients is disappointing. I think his name was Jorge or Jose or something, and he talks to employees like they're trash; and he talks to patients like they're stupid, unless they're one of his homies, which you can tell right away because his demeanor completely changes around them. There must be a lot of favoritism going on in this place to allow someone like that to remain in charge. Don't get me started on all the other management that act like thugs when they walk in. YOU WORK AT A PHARMACY, NOT A TRAP HOUSE; quit acting like a bunch of thugs, seriously.

Honestly wasn't impressed with this place. They do have a wide variety of strains but most of them are popcorn nugs. Don't get me wrong they do have jars with nice potent buds but only very few. The customer service I received was pretty good. Was treated with respect and staff was very friendly. The biggest thing that got me was how much they taxed me. 20 extra dollars was just taxes. Also online it says the blue cookies were on discount for all of the month of October, when I went in they charged me full price. I should of caught that before I left but that's what made me want to write a review. I'd rather go to Berners spot in San Jose to get the real exotics and real cookies if Ima be paying he same price basically here at purple lotus for their version of cookie phenos

As for the Blue Cookies sale, the usual price is $17/g and we have discounted them to $15/g out the door for the entire month, we apologize for any confusion and will do a better job displaying the former price on sale items.

Love the bud, the quality, the price scale, and the different varieties (maybe too many?). The staff is really slow and sometimes pretty un-profesional. The lines can easily make you wait 45 mins. No joke.
An older dude way ahead of me lost his temper and started yelling at the employee's. Not appropriate behavior for an adult for sure, but seriously, I wanted to yell too. The real problem was after he stormed out.
The staff actually started joking about it, making fun of him, talking about him with other customers.
Not cool; he's pissed because you failed to provide good customer service. Take note of it, and work to improve it. Don't de-grade him, and certainly not with the other customers still suffering in line. (I did see the manager sit him down and talk to him later, it seemed to end positively)
You can call ahead and get an order placed and go threw the "fast lane" if you are ok with someone else picking out your medicine, but that's not why I drive to the club. If I wanted that, there are plenty of good delivery services in San Jose.
The place is huge, upwards of 10 registers, but rarely have them all operating, even when the line is longer than the room.
Last time I was there, (during the outraged old-dude incident) some red-headed guy was sitting down separating shake from bud, but didn't open up a register. He must have saw me getting frustrated, because
I waited in line for 45 mins, and he apologized when I left, but c'mon bro, stop doing busy work and help your customers.
The bud-tenders spend a lot of time looking for the products on their very huge menu, so it seems kind of dis-organized, really slowing down your exit. They are also extremely careful to be totally exact. Almost like they are afraid management is counting stems or something.
The3 flat screens on the wall display the menu, but they shift every 2 minutes, making it hard to examine them.
The specials are excellent, and the prices and quality make it worth the wait. Barely.

We have recently added pre-orders both by phone and online for a speedy service and are beginning to pre-package select strains for a increase in speed and efficiency.
Our mission is to provide each and every patient with a quality experience and it is unacceptable to not only have a patient storm out, but also to not have done everything in our power to eliminate the negative experience. As for the TV screens and menu, we are adding pricing to our free app and will be allowing all patients to view our full menu from their smart phones while in line!

Although the atmosphere, accessibility, and price were great I do have some bad reviews about Purple Lotus and how they operate things.
1 : I gave 3 stars to staff because I preorder online and also added additional items to my cart at walk in. Nice man greeted me with kindness, but the lady at the preorder section was extremely rude.
2: I order 2 ounces online: Mango & GDP which were a grand total of $300 and some change. I expected my bud and quality to LOOK EXACTLY like what they advertise online. But instead of buds I got strictly DRY SHAKE AND STEMS. I knew the price was too good to be true and it was my mistake for not looking inside the container before I left, BUT I shouldn't even have to check if it was ADVERTISE CORRECTLY on Weedmaps & their actual website. Put a picture of the actual shake and stems on your website...something to let patients know before preordering.
Point is look at what your buying when it comes to deals and ounces at Purple Lotus or else they'll jack the shit out you.
