The best around South County!
I did some searching for dispensaries around where I live since I just got my med card, and not only did Proper have the best selection (and it really is a "Proper" selection, their menu is split into connoisseur and top shelf bud that smells and tastes great!), they had the best website out of everyone too! An amazing 20% discount for your first time and they make new and old users feel so welcomed! What amazes me is the backstory of Proper! Not only did the owners go to Colorado to get top notch experience, they're from MO and came back when it was legal, so they really know what they're doing. They also have Dave Owens as the Director of Culinary! As for my personal experience, I worked with Jax and he was so helpful! I've never had much experience with actual strains in a dispensary and Jax was able to tell me about everything on the menu since he's tried it all, and what strain works best for different things like insomnia, anxiety, etc.! Great job Jax! 5/5 from me!

Friendly Staff. Lots of Options!
Super friendly staff! I ordered 2g of Alien's Rock Candy - diamonds and sauce. Diamonds and sauce is always expensive, but so worth it to me! There were more options at their store than on their website. Talked to one staff member about the disposable vape pens and which one would be right for me. He asked if my pain was dull or sharp? Sharp pain. He recommended balance by ratio. I will definitely be shopping here. And they have a loyalty program as well.

Upscale, but worth the cost
Proper gets a lot of requests for different products and they actually come through on most requests (live resin and pax era are two that I especially appreciate). The staff is willing to take as much or as little time as you care to spend there. I often pop in with a quick, specific request and I’m on my way with no hassles.

Proper SoCo has been the best Dispensary experience I have had, hands down. No pretense, no condescension, no judgment. The first time I went in it felt like a coffee shop or my best friends house. The first person to greet me was kind and polite, explained everything to me in a human, non mechanical/fake way. She chatted with me and kept me engaged while I waited for my budtender.. From there, I got an experience like I was hoping for. They were kind, interested, and never made me feel stupid or a nuisance. They listened to me and what I liked and disliked and despite their suggestions being totally dissimilar to my initial choices, I bought the suggestions and was super happy. Long story short, been back plenty of times. Every experience has been similar and friendly. So much more like walking into your favorite bar or coffee shop or wherever and just feeling welcome. Add to that the product being TOP NOTCH with every purchase. Fat, fluffy nugs that are always on point.
