i feel bad for all these states that don't have medical marijuana. it's like a slap in the face for the tax payers. i hope you all get a chance to visit Detroit. we have some of the best medicine in the country and so does other states and cities that have medical marijuana.

Mississippi Medical Marijuana Law Information:

 

Effective April 17, 2014, HB 1231 or “Harper Grace’s Law” allows the possession and use of CBD Oil: processed cannabis extract, resin or oil that contains at least 15% CBD, or if in liquid form at least 50 mg of CBD per ml, and no more than 0.5% THC.

 

Mississippi Medical Marijuana Patients:

 

CBD Oil may only be procured by order of a doctor licensed to practice in Mississippi, and directly administered under the supervision or direction of the physician.

 

CBD Oil may only be obtained from, or otherwise must be tested by, the University of Mississippi’s National Center for Natural Products Research. CBD Oil must be dispensed by the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s Department of Pharmacy Services.

 

Either the patient or the patient’s parent, custodian, or guardian must sign a hold-harmless agreement that releases any liability of the state and any division, agency, institution or employee involved in any process of the research, cultivation, dispensing, processing, prescribing or administering CBD Oil.

 

Mississippi Medical Marijuana Researchers:

 

Employees of the state of Mississippi involved in any research, cultivation, dispensing, administration or prescribing of CBD Oil shall not be subject to prosecution for unlawful use, distribution, prescription or use of marijuana related to the use of CBD Oil in the treatment of individuals with a debilitating epileptic condition.

 

The following are the sole entities authorized to produce or possess CBD for research: the Department of Pharmacy Services at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, the National Center for Natural Products Research at the University of Mississippi and the Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station at Mississippi State University.

 

All research of CBD Oil must comply with lawful possession of controlled substances, record-keeping requirements relative to dispensing, administration or use, and regarding applicable inventory requirements.

 

Mississippi Medical Marijuana Service Locations:

 

Patients with debilitating epileptic conditions as diagnosed by their physician can discuss using CBD oil as treatment in the Jackson, Gulfport, Southaven, Hattiesburg, Biloxi, Tupelo, Olive Branch, Greenville, Horn Lake, Pearl, Clinton, Madison, Starkville, Ridgeland, Vicksburg, Pascagoula, Gautier, Ocean Springs, Clarksdale, Natchez, Long Beach and Moss Point regions.
