I enjoyed my visit to MedLeaf on Friday the 25,it’s nice to have a few choices on this side of town, there wasn’t a unsmiling face in the building, from check in to exit the staff was great, they are definitely a powerhouse of information, the 10 percent new patient discount allowed me to get a very overinflated product, first impression a new home felt welcome! Only concern after reading other reviews is whether they have a compassionate heart and have stable prices ,and love for us patients and are moms ?or are they gonna be a another greedy storefront in pg county. Example=mag landrace 68 dollars an eight wtf?poor mom not a bathroom around for miles ? I will visit again !!
There is zero information about pricing or availability for each product..not going to drive there to find out especially if it’s more or the same as where I’ve already been

Honestly, I don't think I have ever had a negative experience with a dispensary, except this one. It is close to negative, but not fully. I went to the party that they threw about a week and a half ago. I got some really good vibes from them too. All of the employees are quite knowledgeable. VERY knowledgeable. That isn't where my problem is. I attended the grand opening on 5/24/2018. It was nice. Until I got out of the car, and my elderly mom had to use the restroom. We asked one of the owners/manager if she could use the bathroom. Sheryl said "only cannabis patients can use the restroom''. Fine. That is cool. But at least direct us to the CLOSEST bathroom. (Mind you I am a cannabis patient, but my mom is not). We left Medleaf at 10am to find a bathroom, and we got lost trying to find a bathroom. I thought it was quite rude of her, since all she had to do was take my mothers DL and walk her back to the restroom. So we decided to give them another chance, by coming back to the event and trying to enjoy ourselves. When we finally found our way back to MedLeaf.. It was around 10:30am. When my mother and I had been sitting there for about 5 minutes, we noticed one of the doctors from the same medical park that MedLeaf is in, come by and ask what MedLeaf was all about. Guess who was welcomed into the dispensary WITHOUT a cannabis license? The doctor. My point is, that my mother who is almost 65, and I had to go to a different bathroom. Well I didn't, but my mom did. So I didn't want to use the restroom there, especially if my mom couldn't use it. So I didn't say anything about it, as I don't like confrontation. BUT it's the point of the matter. So here I am. I had $40 on me that day, and I definitely wanted to contribute to the grand opening by buying something off of them. So I chose a pack of 5 joints. The Swift Lifts to be exact (G6 aka Jet Fuel). I asked how much they were. One of the bud tenders told me $45. So fine. I was honest with him and told him I can go down the street from where I live and get a pack of Swift Lifts for $40 from ZenLeaf. So I then proceeded to ask if they had any specials or discounts for there grand opening. He said he would have to ask. So he asked Sheryl. Sheryl said well 5% would help wouldn't it, as she looked at me, but was talking to the budtender. I said that's cool. Thank you. So the total for my pack of Swift Lifts was $40.85. I said 'that's cool. Thank you.' And I was grateful. Until someone advertised 10% off of grand opening prices for first time customers. I informed this person that I had only received 5%. They told me to message the page on facebook. So I did. They told me to come down again and they would 'right the wrong'. Mind you I live in Waldorf, and they are located in Upper Marlboro. And gas here is $2.86 a gallon. I specifically informed them I had no money left. As I spent it all on my pack of swift lifts. The page messaged me back quite quickly. They told me to come down and they would take care of me. So When i got there. One of the people that helps them set up for events.. waved at me and greeted me with a friendly smile. He had recognized me from the pre-party they had. So, I told him why I was there, very nicely. It was clear that he said something to someone inside, since the owner walked out and asked me how I wanted to settle the discount 'issue'. He asked me 'Do you want your $2 or a pre-roll?' So I said "I would like a preroll." He then stated "That the person who advertised the 10% discount, had no authority to advertise it." I said 'Oh.' And he proceeded to asked me to rectify my comment on the Maryland Medical Cannabis Community group (on facebook) and I quote "Since I cannot afford to have a bad reputation." I answered him "I will definitely do that." So he proceeded to tell me 'come in and we will fix this'. So I rolled my windows up, locked my car, and went in. I checked in when I got in there, and waited in the waiting room, for about 5 minutes before they called me back to pick out my pre roll. So I did. And after they printed out my label, one of the male owners, gave me a hug. He didn't do this when we first were introduced, or after I spent a half hour talking to him at the pre-party. So I just thought it was odd. Not creepy, but odd. It was clear he was more worried about their reputation, then how they treat their patients. THE OWNERS, NOT the employees. BIG HELPFUL HUGE SHOUT OUT TO Amy M. And Kyle (the budtender, they are sooooooo incredibly knowledgeable.) Thanks to the budtender that helped me get the 5% discount on my first visit there. I didn't catch his name, but thank you. I won't be visiting this dispensary again. Thanks but no thanks.
