About us
Lucky Strains is a woman owned and family operated small business. Our family has been advocates for cannabis since the late 1900's. Through persistence and fortitude we have evolved into a true Mom and Pop Recreational Dispensary, getting approved for the first retail endorsed micro-license in the Twin Cities on August 11, 2025.
We entered the Hemp industry in 2019 and then rebranded to Lucky Strains on August 1st, 2022. Our owner Bear was diagnosed with cancer a few months later in December 2022. She went through 4 surgeries over the next year and a half. She micro dosed Cannabinoids like THC, CBD, CBG, CBN and CBC during this time for healing instead of using addictive narcotic opiates. She healed wonderfully, cancer free since February 2023. We know these products work and this reinforced our mission to educate the community and get this ancient medicinal plant to the people.
