About us
Lucky Strains is a woman owned and family operated small business. Our family has been advocates for cannabis since the late 1900's. We entered the Hemp industry in 2019 and then started Lucky Strains on August 1st, 2022. Bear our owner was diagnosed with cancer 4 months later. She went through 4 surgeries over the next year and a half. She micro dosed cannabis during this time for healing instead of opiates. She healed wonderfully. We know these products work and this reinforced our mission to get this ancient medicinal plant in the hands of the people.
Through persistence and fortitude we have evolved into a true Mom and Pop Recreational Dispensary, getting the first retail endorsed micro-license in the Twin Cities on August 12, 2025.
