Truly appreciated the efficiency and kindness in staff. They’re dedicated to organic origin bud and they give back to the community. There’s a great selection of general herbs and glass. Glad I happened to go out of my way and stop in. I’ll be making this my regular spot.

I'm glad that I came across Home Grown Apothecary! Since my first visit, I have stopped in every time that I go to Portland! I Love the individual service; I know all the budtenders by name as they know me by mine. :) I appreciate the high intake standards at HGA, as I'm particular about what I support with my purchases. I LOVE that the choice of inventory includes consideration of products/brands that have a focus on the planet and sustainability! The sum total of awesome humans providing a great selection of products at a wonderful price is why I keep going back!!! :)

Amazing vibes, amazing weed

This shop is the best, the moment you walk in it’s like immediate calmness, the vibes are so cozy. The front of the shop is for herbs and other things accessible to ppl under 21 and through a door, you can access the weed side and there are so many choices, the staff is very knowledgeable and so kind. I felt really welcomed. Their products are all organic or organically sourced and I think they are the only dispensary like that on the west coast, amazing ! The weed I got was from a grower who meditates w the bud and a shaman blesses it and it’s some of the dankest weed I’ve seen in a long time. Of the selection I saw from their products, they are all beautiful buds. If I could give 6 or 7 stars I would. They complimented my jacket too :) if you’re ever in Portland and u like weed - stop by here… u won’t regret it!

Meraki Gardens is the farm you mean- they meditate with their flower daily, play the plants biodynamic music, and have a shaman bless the crop before they take it down. Beautiful growing methods, plus they are woman-owned! We do feel the need to note that the front room is also only accessible to people over the age of 21 and carrying a valid identification- the whole building is licensed as a dispensary and under OLLC compliance therein. We also want to make sure to clarify that our flower is grown to organic standards, but as cannabis is not yet federally legal, is ineligible for an organic certification. We do make sure all of our growers grow in soil, free of any harsh or harmful chemicals- as mother nature would- from farms growing with sustainability initiatives in place and goals for the future. Once cannabis is federally legalized we will be able to use that word! Health and Wellness is the name of the game. We look forward to having you back and appreciate all of the love! First time in today :) The front of the shop is an apothecary, and the back is a full service dispensary! Everyone working was super nice, had a wonderful chat, they have some amazing prices and (after trying when I got home) very high quality, potent flower. Great deals on prerolls and a can’t beat holiday sale going on :) definitely will be back and recommend to friends.

These guys are super helpful and super knowledgeable. They also really vet their products from farms, no chemical junk with their flower, no unnecessary additives to their cartridges, these guys are legit. I trust these guys, and they even recycle old cartridges! Win win.

We are happy to hear that our hard work has not gone unnoticed! It is important to note that we no longer recycle old cartridges :(. While we would love to be able to do this, it is actually against Oregon compliance to provide this service. WE DO however recycle all of the cannabis plastics that come from the industry like your weed containers for your eighths, ounces, and doob tubes; as well as the plastic bags that are required for exit with your purchase! Sustainability will forever be amongst our top priorities and as soon there is a way to recycle the cartridges, you know that we will be the first ones on that! This shop has been a favorite of mine for a long time. The ENTIRE team at Home Grown Apothecary is exceptional! They are well informed on botanical medicine as well as the therapeutic use of cannabis. The shop curates high quality all organic products without any questionable additives. GREAT shop

I was visiting Portland and stopped by this place to find the most lovely storefront I’ve ever seen. It looks like a little schoolhouse. When you walk in it looks like a kitschy, cozy living room. The back room is comfortable and well stocked. The prices and the merchandise are in point. And special shoutout to Richard who welcomed me to the store and was super friendly, informative and helpful. This is a funky, out of the way sort of location but well worth visiting.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Welcoming environment. Good prices and a wide spectrum of products, which are often on sale. Their flower can be hit or miss from a bag appeal perspective but nothing a boveda pack and glass jar can't fix and everyone's recommendations here have been on point.

We do try to carry a large range from frosty top shelf flowers to the more larfy cost-effect flowers and everything in between. Our flower is displayed in glass jars with bodeva packs- 62% is the best humidity level for cannabis if anybody is looking to get some for their home storage!
