Situated in New York City's Bowery district, this two-story retail and gallery space, designed by Cinema Vitae, showcases top-tier cannabis products alongside fashion, lifestyle brands, and art exhibitions, all within a meticulously crafted environment.

The store distinguishes itself through its meticulous curation, spanning both cannabis products and an assortment of non-cannabis items like fashion, fragrances, skincare, home decor, and lifestyle products. Gotham embodies the quintessential essence of New York City, evident in its overall atmosphere. The brand is also deeply committed to effecting systemic change by creating job opportunities, education, and prospects for individuals previously incarcerated for cannabis-related offenses.
Joanne Wilson, the founder of Gotham, is an accomplished entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist renowned for early investments in high-growth consumer brands such as Food52, Parachute, and Sweet Loren’s. She is the visionary behind Gotham's groundbreaking cannabis retail concept, representing the next wave in the industry.

"In our growth journey, we remain steadfast in our commitment to social justice, which is why we partnered with STRIVE for our flagship store."
STRIVE is a non-profit organization that paves the way for transformative careers for individuals facing societal barriers to economic empowerment and upward mobility, including those affected by the justice system. As a beneficiary, this non-profit will receive a share of the proceeds to support its programs. "STRIVE New York is honored to be a beneficiary of Gotham as part of our ongoing work to serve the Black and Brown communities that have borne the disproportionate impact of systematically oppressive cannabis laws," stated Ayesha George, Executive Director of STRIVE New York. "Gotham's vision will drive positive social change, removing obstacles and creating opportunities for people to achieve economic mobility and empowerment from what used to be impediments."
Cannabis is renowned for fostering community and connections, and every aspect of Gotham's inaugural retail space was meticulously designed to evoke the same spirit. Gotham collaborates with top-tier brands, offering New York State's finest cannabis products, encompassing flower, edibles, vaporizers, pre-rolls, and tinctures. The store boasts exclusive product partnerships with local New York brands like Edie Parker, Flowerhouse, House of Puff, and Rose New York in collaboration with David Zilber of Noma. Additionally, the brand will introduce Gotham Goods, its own line of CBD products and accessories. Knowledgeable staff will always be available to assist customers in selecting products tailored to their preferences and needs.
Spanning 2,800 square feet, the open-concept storefront includes an exhibition space that will host rotating seasonal shows featuring New York artists. For its inaugural exhibition, Gotham has collaborated with Bright Moments to present an NFT gallery. The shop also showcases a permanent installation by Molly Lowe, a multimedia artist based in NYC.
