Just had the worst shopping experience of my life. Me and several people I know I’ve been using coastal for years now. I am (was) a regular customer, and I always tip well. The security guard working tonight on 9/13 at 8 PM accosted me and made me feel like a criminal. As I handed my ID to check in as I always have, he stared at me with a death stare and asked me very awkwardly how I was doing. I said fine. He continued staring at me directly very awkwardly and asked me again how I was doing and how my day was I said fine thank you. He then said he would not allow me into the store because I was not sober. Now… how would you act if somebody is staring at you awkwardly and repeatedly asking you asinine questions? Probably pretty awkward. I was completely sober. I am not sure I will be giving this place my business ever again

Bring back your cheap weed!

When your charging at much for a single gram as a decent 1/8th from house! There’s something wrong with that!You know damn well if any of your staff walked in any Other dispensary with your prices they’d wanna walk out too! $25 grams plus $6 state and city tax...how could you feel good about ripping off the community. The only people who are willing to pay that price our foreign exchange students aren’t even from this country and spend all of their mommy and daddy‘s money! Hope you’re business can stay afloat

Awesome Ambiance

Coastal is a friendly, welcoming environment with knowledgable staff and a beautiful ambiance. Must try: Vegan lemon-drop gummies! I also purchased a great product for my dog. He loves it and it mellows him right out. Will definitely go back next time I visit Santa Barbara!

This place is super clean, organized and has super friendly and hilarious staff. The online system in the store is super helpful for figuring out what you want. 100% would come back if I wasn't an east coaster ;)

Amazing deals , great service, so many options

I have been to this shop a couple of times now and each visit I am greeted by the most friendly group of people that I’ve ever experienced buying Cannabis. I’ve had a Med card for 3 years now and have become all to used to the gross dungeon atmosphere that most shops opt for with employees that almost despise you for taking up their time. At Coastal I was immediately helped and assisted in finding a product that fit what I wanted for my experience. I settled on some gummies with a lower thc and higher cbd and enjoyed the mellow body high with mental clarity. I really enjoyed not being pushed towards the more expensive or higher thc products, and the staff really placed the focus on helping me enjoy my high. Thanks Coastal!!

Quality Bud Great Location

Never had a problem at Coastal, everyone's always super nice location looks great and has a solid selection. Also to the debit card people complaining. Yes it sucks but it’s what the storefronts have to do to circumvent fed restrictions. They can’t directly take debit card transactions so they do an ATM type pull. Just use cash like we always have and you’ll have no issues.

What an amazing, well located space right in the heart of lower state street! 6000sf of gorgeous space, a fantastic variety, and friendly staff. If you’re new to medical or recreational cannabis products they don’t make you feel like a dummy; they’re helpful and supportive. They also carry a great selection of local beers infused with CBD/THC - be sure to try one!

I really loved this store even tho it was my first time in a dispensery but it was a good first trip the store was nice and clean and oh my gosh did the place smell good of course it would smell good but anyways this place is amazing and all the employees were very helpful and they answered all my questions so thank you to the employees THERE ISNT ANY BAD THINGS ABOUT THIS STORE
