Complete waste of money. This sativa does nothing and provides little to no feeling at all. Just an addictive keep smoking over and over maven trick. This seems to be how maven makes all flower drop choices now. 1- what is going to provide a short lived high so customer smokes more and more and spends more money 2- fancy packaging and jar to trick people into thinking it’s more special then it is . And raising the cost of the product by a good amount just in presentation. Good weed doesn’t need fancy presentations. 3- make flsvor ful profiles thet don’t really get you high but wanting more and more product

This was a mess relwaee Thet was unnecessary and just trying to get customers to buy more new maven drops. They released like 4 new sativa at once and all were bad. So I bought 4 new 1/8ths to try new strains and they were all bad. Not a good high and short lasting. Have to keep smoking I notice with maven they release flower thet is highly addictive has some flavor profile and high is short lived. It’s a way to get us to keep buying more and more and not be satisfied or high. There flower just isn’t having the same effects this year . Much better options out there with house flower brands

Hi this strain was fine a year or two ago but I don’t know what happened with maven and KA. The last batch I got was completely dry and beyond purple. There was no green at all in any of the flower just purple purple . Are they doing too much lights deprivation 11/13 light schedules with all flower to make them beyond purple now ? I don’t get it . They release so many bunk batches now and charge more then before. Half’s used to be $99 now they are $115 for small duff and $125 for mini medium nugs. It’s almost the price of buying 4 1/8 jars now but much worse quality flower in the half ounce bags. It was hard to get beyond the extreme dry and harshness. I don’t know if this company can turn things around overall for consumers thet like the best product for thr best price

Used to be better. Last few times the 1/8ths had nice big nugs. But then you notice they’re yellowish brown and not a good green color at all. Then it hits harsh on taste and throat. The high is fine for a sativa. But I have just noticed a lot of nuanced issues with maven flower lately. Would have been nice if they cared about any feedback or issues, but they don’t. Hard to get a “fresh” batch of anything here lately. It’s really hit or miss. Looking forward to Fed law change so companies can bring in Oklahoma weed for 1/3 thr grow cost there. I don’t know what’s goin here in ca with packaged weed. I’m just used to a more perfect and cared for product I guess. They don’t seem to have a balanced sativa hybrid here out of like 20 maven strains. It’s either full sativa or indica leaning hybrids only.

Hi this is considered a “new” strain drop at maven but it’s 3 months old in jar and bag already. Batch goes back to February and we’re in middle of may now. Is there really ever fresh maven flower available at KA anymore ? Or are we just getting the old leftovers from all the other stores it feels ? Sometimes you can get an 1/8 fresh then the next week you get an 1/8 of same strain and it’s months older. That makes no sense unless they are rounding up all the old product in the market place from other stores and brining it back old to sell here. This strain was ok but way too Outer Space feeling for me. Each hit brings on a big outer space head feeling thet doesn’t help getting anything done during the day as a hybrid would suggest. Maybe sherb mints or la rouge is more grounded and balanced hybrid feeling but those strains are changing each batch also.

Hi it’s getting hard to keep up with batch changes and how your going to feel smoking new batches of maven. The workers don’t usually know how to explain feelings of products so it’s mainly self guessing. So numbskull was listed as indica and explained as such by KA. But maven lists the strain as hybrid online. Same happened with pandora. Started as indica then hybrid. I was wondering why it was keeping me up so much and not acting as a night indica. Then new batches of la rouge and other have differing feelings and effects then before. The same strains keep changing effects over here . Numb skull name would imply a grounded couch lock and not an outer space feeling like other review states!

I’m with Jamal. The batch I got didn’t do anything for me. I usually give maven 1/8ths a few tries but this one I knew not to keep going or trying. Their new drops are either hit or miss nowadays. And lower total cannabinoids to thc ratio now , higher half prices for worse trim and cared for flower isn’t adding up. Sometimes they go for flavor profiles and popular tones rather then getting something that actually works. They have other indica body relax options that work much better without the need to continue smoking because of short lived or no high at all ( think gelato sky drop etc ). The new vantablack drop was really bad too. I can see why they call it black it was beyond purple , had a real bad taste and no feeling at all. Who is checking or deciding these batches over there now ? Quality control and products were much better before. Now they have 1/8ths on shelf for 6 months at full price. Then once they sell out they put out a mother batch that’s already 2-3 months old

been coming for 3 yrs n spent a lot of $$ on maven flower. Seen ups n downs of price offers n quality control n service. customer service is rare in the legal weed biz once they sell it. If you bring up an issue they treat you like a criminal it’s crazy. I ran into a few issues over time here n contact maven directly about issues not resolved at store. It’s always oh I can’t help or mgr. not here or some answer not leaning to help. Last year an 1/8 was below weight. 3 times ago I went they shorted me $20 cash. I called and they did have an overage in the drawer. Good thing I noticed. 2nd time ago I asked if I could get a 4 month old flower 1/8 for $25 and not $36 like they used to do sooner. Now they wait 6+ months to mark down. They said yes but on receipt it didn’t show up. Last time I bring up the the issue to mgr and security comes out and 2 guys she knows threaten me. They talked about knocking teeth out. I won’t go back. 3yrs and $15k I went 100 times with like 4 issues. Bye.

Wow. I hope this strain sticks around. It’s been hard for me to find a near perfect balanced strain , something close to the craft cannabis on the street , and for fair pricing. This maybe the one for me. I really enjoyed sherb mints as that is also near perfect balanced although that strain can bring on some heat feeling and etc differently. This maybe my fav maven strain I’ve tried in the past 2 years ( and I pretty much try all the new strains that come out). Kashmir kush on its own wasn’t doing it for me and I don’t know much about cherry west Bx, however the lineage on that strain Is impressively balanced . It has just about every strain in its background from what is known about it online. So this just hits grwet any time of day. This is the kinda strain you can get & not need much else. It’s so balanced it can go with your feeling anytime of day. It can uplift your head enough during the day & also provide much body relief later on. This has that real earthy OG taste going out

This was a great cross . I wasn’t overly joyed with the sunset sherbet strains , but I do enjoy kush mints more. This is a cross that is meant to be . It’s better then each strain by itself and they blend beautifully together. It’s nice to get a little earth kush / og taste and the rapid onset . This is a strong strain for sure . Very balanced for both mind and body .

Wow. This is a beautifully exotic yet satisfying strain. It’s funky for sure. But they really not miss with their XXX og. That strain is good my itself ( I wish they had it more often ) it’s so balanced and the type of og I’m more used to. Every og now leans indica like ambrosia, but I used to remember the mind rock effect too like with xxx or sky walker . So all their xxx cross strains have been good for me . All have Some mind and body effect . This strain is strong and will start with some mind calm down but it does go into a deep soothing body effect which leads often to sleep . So it does it’s intended indica effects. Sometimes the xxx can lean it a bit hybrid indica but it’s usually a knock out sleeper strain.

If you notice they been removing reviews of maven flower because they are getting many bad reviews now because the quality and products are not as good anymore. The last half I got of this was very harsh on the hit and throat not like previous batches. Also all the flower has lower cannabinoids this year where it used to be about 5% above thc now it’s about the same as thc. Then the trimming is not as good and half’s are $115 now and smaller buds and not as good batches. It’s almost becoming kush alley flower quality and not the maven we used to know. This is still better then all the new sativa they made like strawberry cava, clementine sour and Yuzu mac. All of the new drops have been bad and not worthwhile. What happened to mandarin gold . Blue skittles hits harsh now too. Just know they are taking all their flower reviews down because they are getting bad reviews because we are noticing it’s not as good now . This just gave me a headache buzz the last batch. Maybe not good flush

This was my favorite shop the past 4 months as they have taken my business from a few sources during that time, spending $100-$200 a week sometimes there the past 4 months. They have great products and pricing on maven . Love their sale eights too, but the 20% and 15% discount really drove me in vs a few other shops. There’s a shop on ventura in Encino not to name here that has many great house brands above 30% with taxes included for $25-$35 an eighth out the door. That is where I had been going more before kush alley had the 20% off sale going . Then I did have to make one exchange out of 50-100 eighths I bought there and instead of exchange it was a new transaction where I lost 30 points and paid $5 extra for the same exchanged product . Then they said I used a FTP discount in February already however they were running the 15-20% discount back then so I don’t understand how I used it then. I can be very picky when it comes to weed shopping because I like top quality for best price.

Good selection and good pricing .

This is a good clean store with a nice selection of items. they usually have a great promo running to help offset high taxes, etc. the staff is there to help with issues that come up. the drive thru is a nice touch when needed too.
