A BIG Thank You!!!
I came in Tuesday evening to pick up some meds...a good Sativa...and a Hybrid strain I'd tried before...and really liked! It seems their donation prices are even lower than I remembered...so I got a really great deal! But what was SUPER-NICE is that when I asked the budtender if they had "any kind of special gifts" they were giving away (because I'd "missed" 420)...he was kind enough to give me a really cool goody bag! WOW!!!
That was so AWESOME!!! I really appreciated that extra bit of kindness...and such GOOD customer/patient service! It truly makes a difference when you're treated so nicely...with genuine respect and appreciation! No wonder everyone I've referred to Coast To Coast Collective just LOVES them! They have a GREAT selection...a friendly and knowledgeable staff...excellent meds...and very good prices! Not only that...but the dispensary itself is super-clean, upscale, and professional-looking...with a beautiful growing room! 'One of the BEST dispensaries in the Valley!!! They even have their own parking area behind the building...which is a big plus...and very convenient! Thank you SO much!!!

Aside from a slight misunderstanding on my second visit...this place has ALWAYS had the nicest, friendiest, most helpful and knowledgeable staff...especially Tony! They have a HUGE selection...from flowers, to edibles, concentrates, gear and accessories...prices to fit almost any budget, and SUPER-GOOD "top shelf" bud! I really like THeClinik Caregivers!!!

I'm Happy Now!!!
I went back...after reading the dispensary's response to my last "review"...and I was glad I did! Tony and Dago both apologized to me...and hooked me up with the half-gram of kief (for writing the original review on January 9th 2015), plus several other "goodies"...in addition to the "Bad Ass Sativa Shake" I came in for!
I definitely left there smiling (this time)...and even got a nice hug before I left (as much as one can hug over a glass display case)! So thank you, guys! I felt the "love"...and I'll be back soon!!! : )

'Just Came In This Evening!!!
I saw this place when I went to 7-11...and decided to look them up on WeedMaps. When I read that they gave a free gram...as a FTP gift (with a minimum $20.00 donation)...I thought I'd stop by and check them out. Danny (the "budtender" who assisted me) was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable...and showed me several nice looking and smelling strains. They had a great selection of meds and gear...and were very professional. I'll definitely be back!

'Stopped By Yesterday!
I came in with my friend yesterday, in the late afternoon. She wanted to pick up a few more edibles...and a little bud as well. The male budtender who helped us (I've forgotten his name now) was very nice...and he explained to me (when I asked him)...that the "custom tote" goody bag had been my FTP gift...and the free joint was an added gift for bringing in my friend (last time) as a referral. He said the reason my friend was also given a free joint was because they were just showing her some "love"! So that makes sense now. I didn't get anything this time (basically for lack of funds)...but there were several strains that looked and smelled very nice. Their "grow room" was quite impressive. Those were sure some beautiful plants! I'll be back soon!

Amazing Giveaways???
First, I'm still going to give this place 5 stars...since they were very nice there...but honestly, I really didn't think their first time patient giveaway was very "amazing" at all! Cute, yes...but amazing...uh, no! I'd found this place here on WeedMaps...and asked my friend (who also has a valid doctor's recommendation) to go there with me...so I could possibly get some kind of "referral" gift...as well as their FTP giveaway. I even called first, to find out what type of gifts/specials/giveaways they offered new patients...and if they also offered any kind of gift, or incentive for referring new patients. I spoke with a gentlman named, Jesse, who said he couldn't "discuss that over the phone"...but to just come in...and he assured me that we'd both be taken care of...and we'd leave happy. So we hopped in the car and went on over!
As we drove up to the front of the building, I saw a sign that read, "Parking and Entrance in Rear", so we went around to the back to park and enter. But as we were parking, I saw another sign that said their rear entrance was for returning patients only! Huh??? THAT seemed rather confusing...however, they made an exception and still allowed us to come in through the rear entrance...since they were closing in about 30 minutes. Perhaps the sign in the FRONT shoud have said, "Parking and Entrance in Rear for Returning Patients Only...New Patients Must Use Front Entrance" or "New Patients, Enter Here...Returning Patients, Park and Enter in Rear"!
The shop is very clean, nicely decorated, and professional looking...which was impressive...since I've been to many other dispensaries which were definitely NOT (and one that literally reaked of cigarette smoke)! Once we were in the budroom, we asked for Jesse...and there seemed to be some confusion as to whether he was actually THERE or not. I told the staff that I'd just spoken to him on the phone...and he'd told us to come in! They asked us for our names...and suddenly Jesse was located (?). My friend got some edibles, I got a gram of something he suggested...and we both were given their "custom tote bag filled with goodies"...and one free joint. Here's what was in the "tote"...which is somewhat like those perforated paper shopping totes with handles...that you can get at some stores and markets for 99 cents. There was a small hand towel with the name of the dispensary...Coast To Coast Collective...on it ('not exactly something I'd really need or use...but okay)...a small pad of post-it notes...with the name and the phone number of the dispensary imprinted on it...also not really something I need...but I'll probably use it eventually...just because I have it...if I keep it in my car. There was a cute little mini glass pipe...again, not something I really needed (I HAVE plenty of pipes)...a plastic grinder (which I also don't need)...and a little mini disposable lighter wrapped with hemp-wick...which I will actually use...if it works.
I didn't find any of that especially "amazing"...it was nice...and free...but what I would've REALLY liked and appreciated so much more was "medication"! The free joint was just so-so (it was called Space Queen)...but it was preferable to anything else in the entire bag! What I was wondering was this...if we were BOTH first time patients...and I'd brought my friend with me as a referral...how come we were both given exactly the same things? Jesse did say they gave gifts for referring new patients...which is the reason I insisted that my friend go with me that night...but each of us was given just the "tote" and it's contents...and the one free joint. So I guess there really WASN'T any additional gift for bringing in my friend...as a "referral".
Overall, I'd say it was a pretty decent place...and I may go back. I know my friend liked their large selection of edibles...since she prefers not to "smoke" her medication. I will say this...if Jesse had told me (over the phone) that their "custom tote goody bag" (for first time patients) consisted of a small hand towel, a post-it note pad, a mini lighter, a plastic grinder, and a mini glass pipe...I WOULDN'T have gone over there that night...and I WOULDN'T have insisted that my friend come with me!
My old dispensary (and their other current Downtown L.A. location) gives their patients "a free gram of choice"...for referring new patients...plus ten grams of "shake"...and first time patients get a free gram of choice, plus five grams of "shake"! They also give a free (GOOD) joint with ANY donation...as well as another free joint for simply writing a review of their shop on WeedMaps! In MY opinion...I'd say THAT'S much more "amazing" (they're just a lot farther away...from Canoga Park)!

'Got My Renewal - No Problem!!!
Although there was a bit of a wait...they were a bit busy that day...I saw the doctor, who was very nice and prifessional...and got my renewal for $30.00! I'd gone there last year too! They charged me exactly what they'd quoted over the phone when I'd called! What can I say? I have no complaints about this place!

SOME "SPECIAL"!!!
Their advertised "SPECIAL"...$29 renewal, $39 new patient...is only for SIX MONTHS...NOT a full year!!! Their ad is intentionally misleading!!! They tried to charge me $60.00 for a year! I don't like being lied to!!!

Please...VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!!
WE ALL NEED TO VOTE...We've come too far...to allow new anti-medical marijuana laws...to make us take steps backward now!!!
"Earlier this week, Los Angeles’ voters made a catastrophic blunder when they voted for Measure D and against Ordinance F, putting the entire city’s MMJ Industry in limbo. The only problem: no one even voted.
There are around 2.6 million registered voters in LA out of 3.82 million people (that’s pathetic). Under 50% are even REGISTERED to vote. More than 25% of Los Angeles smokes weed. And well more than 50% of Angelenos approve of medical marijuana. But unfortunately, the people who show up to vote are the ones who want us to lose.
The city saw its lowest voter turnout of all time, as a mere 21 percent of registered voters hit the polls. When you factor in the amount of unregistered Angelenos, that number easily dips well below 10%. And worst of all, based on the result, it’s safe to assume that even a smaller, microscopic proportion of the city’s cannabis smokers showed up.
We–and I mean everyone that medicates in this country–can no longer use that attitude towards elections. Or cannabis will never reach legal status in this country. We have to believe not just that we can win, but that we will win. We have to have faith in our cause, and our power. And above all else, we have to band together.
There are votes taking place in every city and every city taking place on a weekly and often daily basis. No one’s going to come to your house, ring your door bell, and force you to head to the polls. Before you hit the bong, get up, stand up, fight for your right to medicate, and hit the polls. Because we’re all in this together."

Thank You!
I really just have to say a very grateful thank you...to the people working at Big Mamas! I was laid off a job I'd had for 10 years...and it's been extremely difficult (financially) to afford to get my "meds". So I didn't have much to spend. Normally I go to another place that closes at 12AM...but was after midnight, So I decided to try out Big Mama's (is there REALLY a person known as "Big Mama"...who OWNS this place?). I was hoping, since it was my first time there, I'd be able to get some type of free gift...maybe at least a gram of something good. The budtender steered me to the best deal for the amount I had to spend...and gave me a free gram along with it! Wooo-whooo!!! Not only that, but when I opened the bag I was given, as my first time patient gift, there were all kinds of little goodies inside! A hard-candy "edible", a cool canabis calendar poster, and a little one-hit "pipe" that looked like a cigarette! Cool! I was VERY pleased and happy...especially when I went home and tried what I'd gotten! Whoa! I prefer "top-shelf" strains, but since I'm on a tight budget...their "shake"..,which is made from a mixture of the smaller chunks and pieces of all their top-shelf buds, was just great! So thank you very much...to the guy who helped us, and the girl who gave us our FTP bag!
My only suggestion is this...maybe lower the music a bit, when you have patients there? I realize everyone has different tastes in music...that's obvious...and perhaps some people wouldn't care to listen to some of the music I like...and I would never force anyone to do so. Explicit (and vulgar) Rap is really NOT on my list of favorites...and I totally understand that the people who work at Big Mama's may LIKE it, and ENJOY listening to music they like while they're working. But when I go into a place where I feel "forced" to listen to music I don't care for...and the volume is LOUD...it makes me feel a little uncomfotable (like I want to get OUT to "escape" it). It also made it difficult (for me) to HEAR the budtender explain things, and give us information about the different strains he was showing us. I could have tolerated it a bit better if the volume had been turned down...just while we were there...or if maybe the budtender had asked, "Is the music too loud for you?" I would have said, "WHAT? I can't hear you over this music!"
Anyway, that's just a polite suggestion. So, other than the loud rap music, I was pleased with my overall experience, the quality of what I got...not to mention the nice FTP deal and goodie-bag...and the fact that they stay open until 3AM!!! 'Cool place...especially after midnight...when many dispensaries are closed.

Nice Place
I'm pretty new to all this...I recently got my doctor's recomendation and decided to try out a few different places. CPR was a nice place...clean, well-stocked and the staff was very polite and professional. Their selection was good, the prices were decent (not the best I've seen...but about average) and I got free "new patient" gifts. I don't remember exactly what the eighth I got was called, but I do remember liking it. It was good quality...and looked and smelled very nice. I would definitely go back there again!
