I started going to Rise when they first opened in Carson. I could get a 1/8th that would normally cost $55 today for $25. With the recreational craze sweeping the state, prices skyrocketed for a long time and I regretfully dropped Rise as my go to for quite some time. Fast forward to today and it seems they have somewhat answered their customers cries for relief from astronomical prices. You can get an eighth PRICED at $35 but with tax included comes out to $42. I’d like to see prices hit $35 with tax included but one can only hope and dream.

Used to like this dispensary a lot. The facility is great, and the staff are cool. As far as prices go this place used to be one of the best but is now the worst in the area. $65 eighths?? That’s almost insulting to be quite honest. I don’t care if the growers were Cheech and Chong themselves, no weed should be $65 for a eighth. Where are the affordable options? Miss me with that bullshit 👎🏻

As a Northern Nevada stoner I just want to say you guys are doing gods work. I took one look at the menu and my mouth dropped. Its not fair that just a couple hundred miles away there are weed prices at dispensaries that aren’t out to scalp your wallet for all its worth. You guys are truly lucky to have such a gem. Hope I can make the road trip and visit one day.

I’ll be honest. You guys did everything right in the early beginnings of your business. I would tell all my friends to go here and no where else. Now I warn people to steer clear of this place. Not because of rude staff or poor quality product. But because of absurd pricing. $55 for a 1/8th is the antithesis of compassionate. Such a sad turn out for such a great dispensary staffed by great people. Maybe one day I’ll be back, but that day is not today :’(

Ever since recreational went into effect many places have been price gouging HARD. Thankfully this place understands that many people are not keen on spending $50 an 1/8th of similar quality bud that I can get in Cali for less. They usually always have something priced at $35 an 1/8th. Which should be the max price for any 1/8th if you ask me. The staff are really cool especially the one guy named Alex. Always super friendly and knowledgable. Theres a heavyset dude whom I don’t know his name but he always seems to be in a funk and has very little personality. Probably best to get rid of that guy and hire someone who doesn’t look like they absolutely loathe their life. I mean come on, you’re working at a pot shop. Lighten the fk up lol

$55 for an 1/8th is something that should not ever exist. We are in a legalized state not some hick town in the south where cannabis is illegal. Maybe the only redeeming quality this place has is that they do have correctly priced products at $35 an 1/8th but not very many compared to their price gouged products.

I don’t understand how you guys can’t verify my California rec but then I go down the street to RISE and after almost a year they have all my information on record. Get it together for god sake I truly want to shop at this place. Also,I want to make something clear to the gestapo weedmaps moderators-I am NOT promoting another business. this is my own experience in a town with only 2 medical shops to choose from. So dont flag this review like the many other crybabies who cant handle criticism. Fix your issues and ill fix my review

I'm from Los Angeles where MMJ is easily accessible and of all the dispensaries I've frequented this is the first to have both quality prices and quality bud. I've never left dissatisfied with what I decided to purchase. The price range they offer is absolutely amazing. They will have something for every budget. They also, time and time again, have shown that they truly care about the people who decide to stop in. Whether it's their beautiful facility or their rewards program it never ceases to please. Before Rise opened up it was tough living out here between Cali and NV trying to find a shop that wasn't going to rip me off *cough* TWC *cough*. Now that I have to leave and go back to LA after the holidays I'm sad that I won't be able to stop by more often. Much love to everybody at Rise! Keep up the good work!

You'd be better off either starting your own medical grow or going somewhere else. I don't care if Tommy Chong himself tended to these buds they're not worth $50 an 1/8th. Go anywhere else for higher quality buds for HALF the price. It's sad to see that people actually believe that these prices are normal and fair. Maybe 15 years ago or back in the east coast they charge that much but not in this day in age ESPECIALLY in the western part of the US.

This place is awesome! I finally don't have to drive all the way to Reno and back for my medicine. Everyone working there is really helpful and friendly. Product selection is amazing and extremely well packaged. They give you a nice smell proof and child proof container to keep your meds safe once you leave the dispensary. I was amazed by the price range of buds. No matter your budget you will find something that will satisfy you. I highly recommend this dispensary if you're in the area!

Bud quality here is sub-par at best. At times it can be very dry, contain a lot of shake and/or stems. I guess you cant expect much with the amount of deals offered. Many of the choices here that are 50 an 1/8th I could get for 35 elsewhere. I like the shop itself though. All the employees are friendly and helpful. This place is pretty much my last option when everywhere else is closed.
