Best quality medicine in santa cruz that I've found yet!

I'm a regular customer who brought in a new patient today for the medicine available and to take advantage of the 'first time patient' $1 preroll. when we got inside to get our medicine, our great budtender was helping us and got us our $1 preroll. then another budtender walked by and quite rudely told the budtender (in the middle of her speaking to us, without any sort of preamble) that "we don't do the $1 preroll anymore for new patients, its 10% off". this was very rude to the budtender, and to us as patients. additionally, the sign out front LOUDLY proclaimed that "new patients and birthday people get $1 prerolls." it is not only illegal to advertise one price and switch it at the register, but it is also highly unprofessional to speak to your coworkers that way, in front of customers, on the sales floor. I have had a lot of problems with getting the medicine I need here lately (this dispensary generally lacks sativas at reasonable prices), and it makes me sad.
