not the mist fragrant strain from upnorth, but was pleasantly surprised when I actually vaped it in a Mighty+ how much strawberry flavor came through. usually the nose (terps) is stronger than the smoked or vaped taste but this was just the opposite, which was amazing. Upnorth continues to produce great legacy strains, and frequently they’re stronger than the originals I sampled years ago. One of the best in this price point, along with Fig Farms.

If you love Flower this is the best place in town, period. Happy 420!

Obviously not gonna have the same look as the herb that came through the docks of New York from Panama and Columbia in the 1970’s, but the sheer punch and dreamy stoniness of this offering from Upnorth smacks of the original lineage. This batch clocks at 34% THC, a number I would usually scoff at but after a typical sesh for me I was gloriously buzzed, and it actually did remind me a bit of the Panama Red we revered back in the day. Upnorth does a great job of sourcing interesting and frequently vintage strains, I’m a big fan. Beautifully cured as well, will be going back for another 8th.

Blueberry Revenge is a strain that comes out rarely from Decibel, and is one of the wildest smelling berry-meets-gas terps you will ever encounter. Incredible buzz, taste, and glistening dark purple buds have made it one of my all time favorites. I always buy two eighths when it comes out, because it sells out so quickly when available. Absolutely stunning, and I sample almost everything in SoCal.

The second strain I’ve tried from Traditional, disappointing. Fairly dry dense buds with minimal terpenes, not in the same league as other companies with similar prices. Really cute packaging and marketing but I’d put more emphasis on creating better quality flower. When you open a jar, the reaction should be “Wow!”, not “Meh”.

Not in the same league with similarly priced boutique flower. Slightly dry, responded well to a humidity pack (62%) but doesn’t have the flavor or punch that brands like Fig Farms, 710 Labs, UpNorth, LAX Packs have at a similar price point. Maybe just a mediocre batch, but it ended up in the “B” pile.

Big fluffy buds, delicious taste, and really unusual structure define this gem from UpNorth. After opening I bought a second 8th. It’s high THC so possibly not for newbies, but a glorious buzz if you like strong Sativas. Highly recommend.

Been shopping dispensaries over 10 years in LA, have my favorites but Off The Charts in Eagle Rock have recently raised the bar by a wide margin. If you’re into flower, you will not find a bigger selection at the best prices anywhere in town. Fig Farms, UpNorth, Decibel Gardens, Lax Packs, and dozens of other brands are plentiful here, as a big fan of Fig Farms my mind was blown by the nearly TWENTY varieties of killer strains they just got in. Great discount days happen frequently, and the people are super nice. This place is number one in Los Angeles currently, imo.

Nice people, just very few quality brands, and not priced especially well. Ended up purchasing an Indica from Hi-Cal called Northern Lights Skunk #1 for $33 (after 20% discount) that was so bad I tossed it. It smelled like stale hay, was rock hard, always a bummer when you stick your nose in a jar and say “yuck”. Can’t speak for their other strains, but my first visit was disappointing. It did help me to appreciate my local though.

Heirbloom puts out some interesting strains from the past, this is one of their best. Great flavor and terps, very well cured, killer sativa buzz with energy and imagination. Got it from Exhalence, it’s actually not that easy to find, and it was priced right. Going back for another!

I just have to say, having shopped regularly at nearly all the dispensaries in the valley, how Sun Valley Caregivers doesn’t come out as “best of” is beyond me. If you want the BEST selection of herbs, concentrates, and nearly every other form of cannabis you can think of, at the BEST prices (as well!) you need to shop here. Incredible range of prices, very knowledgeable budtenders, and it’s nearly always busy- which is a good sign! If ya know, ya know! Regardless of WM’s awards, THIS is the very best in the valley, period.

I purchased Crescendo all the time, and have always supported THC Design. The last jar I got was entirely “smalls”, and had no smell. I wrote to them, but never got a response. Just wondering if THC Design is cutting corners. The buds that used to come in a jar of Crescendo were glorious, but since I can’t examine the buds anymore, now that they’re in a sealed cardboard box, I am reluctant to get another jar of “dud-buds”. I was genuinely disappointed.

Absolutely the stinkiest and strongest hybrid on the market. Pungent barely describes it, it’s utterly unique in its effects and strength. Buy it, and stick your nose into nirvana- if you dare..

The taste is decent, if you can squeak out a tiny hit. If you check online there is a growing consensus that PAX pods are the worst hitting, most inconsistent pods on the market. I LOVE the PAX 3 for flower, and even concentrates, but the era pods, (specifically from PAX) are so finicky that I can get a slightly decent hit about 30% of the time. I’ve purchased four of their pods, and have returned two of them for replacement. The Jack Herer tasted the best, but the second one I purchased has never hit properly. The first PAX Blue Dream cart didn’t hit at all, clogged from the beginning, so I returned it for a second cart, which does hit okay. The Durban Poison (Diamonds) cart I recently purchased at Sun Valley Caregivers also did not hit at all, so I returned it and exchanged it for the same, which barely works as well. Rather than burdening my dispensary with yet another return, I’m contacting PAX directly this time for a refund. Btw other brands like Raw Garden seem to work fine.

I live within walking distance of this dispensary. It was my go-to spot for a number of years, but has a limited selection, and is priced well above nearly all of the local spots. Why? items like Raw Garden vapes are considerably less expensive almost everywhere else. eg: RG disposables in this area are typically $22- $25 out the door. Foothill Wellness sells them for $26.57 before taxes. Nice people, but for regular users like myself the higher prices have driven me elsewhere, I'm sorry to say. If you ever consider price matching, I'll be back. I like the staff- and I'd prefer to support my local, but yer prices are too high.

Scored at sun valley caregivers, reasonably priced and supremely strong. Lots of jack “pine” terps, plus considerable gas as well. Amazingly it was packed 2 days before purchased, so it was super fresh as well. Nice, big, pungent nugs. I’ve been a Jack Herer fan for years, this is some of the best and strongest I’ve encountered. Good job, 3C!

I’m not sure what happened to the buyer that said this tasted like mids, I’ve been a fan of Amplified Farms Cereal Milk since I first tasted it. High THC content, and the terps are indeed sweet and reminiscent of cereal milk. I’ve purchased about 9 jars of this over the last year, haven't had a bad batch yet. Runs about $50 at Exhalence with Sunday discounts, I love this strain, and this company. Highly recommend.

Just got this strain from Green Dragon, high THC, the nugs were fresh and sticky with great terps! Delicious!
