Venus

aka Venus OG Kush

Venus OG is part of the so-called “planetary series” of Kush strains, orbiting around OG Kush genetics with some mystery tucked into its lineage. While a lesser-known “Venus” from Nirvana Seeds exists, the OG-branded cut is the one that actually shows up on menus and in grow circles.

Origin 1: Venus OG (West Coast Cut)

The widely circulated “Venus OG” is part of the planetary line alongside Mars, Earth, and Jupiter OG. Like its siblings, it traces back to OG Kush, with extra mystery in the mix. The flavor profile rides heavy on pine and lemon, rounded with earthy spice and a faint berry lift. This is the cut most often spotted on California menus.

Origin 2: Venus (Nirvana Seeds)

Nirvana Seeds out of the Netherlands also released a “Venus” that has little to do with the OG series. Their version leans skunky, with citrus and floral notes, showing how the same name can mean very different genetics depending on the breeder.

Reports from smokers keep the theme cosmic: a euphoric, spacey lift that drifts into full-body calm. Venus balances its orbit — OG-style grounding with just enough headspace to make you feel weightless.
