The Judge is a hybrid strain created by Claybourne Co. Though many sources give the impression of mysterious origins and hazy genetics, Claybourne indicates that The Judge is an indica strain created from a crossing of Kush, Chemdawg, and Sour Diesel. However, exact details are scarce, and its hybrid origins suggest an indica-leaning hybrid rather than an outright indica. Even so, some sources complicate things further by describing The Judge as an evenly balanced hybrid.

Whatever his legal background, The Judge is reportedly impartial and seems to exhibit both indica and sativa tendencies. That includes a balanced high, with a giggly sense of euphoria and robust application for medical patients who want a stabilizing smoke to fight depression, anxiety, or stress. The Judge also reportedly has good posture, with a dense leafy structure coated in so much shiny resin that it almost looks like folded metal.
