Tangieberto

Tangieberto is an indica-dominant hybrid strain widely attributed to Purple City Genetics, a California-based breeder known for citrus-forward cultivars. It's a cross of Tangie and Key Lime Pie — two heavyweights that lend this one a layered, unmistakable nose. Crack open a jar and you'll catch bright tangerine peel and sharp lime rind up front, followed by a wave of gassy fuel and a subtle herbal undertone that keeps things interesting.

Smokers report the high usually opens with a bright citrus-headed lift before the heavier body effects start settling in underneath. While the Tangie side keeps the mood elevated and mentally engaged early on, the Key Lime Pie influence gradually pulls the experience into a calmer, weightier lane better suited for slower evenings than all-day productivity. Dense resin-coated buds show deep green calyxes threaded with fiery orange pistils beneath a thick layer of ripe trichomes.

Tangieberto is a moderate-difficulty strain that stays around three to four feet indoors — making it a solid fit for growers working with standard tent setups. Outdoors, it stretches to five or six feet and thrives in warm Mediterranean climates with daytime temperatures between 76–82°F. Flowering takes roughly eight to ten weeks, and growers often report yields around 400–550 g/m² indoors and 16–32 oz per plant outdoors when conditions are dialed in.
