Tahoe OG is an old-school indica-dominant cut from the OG Kush family with an origin story almost as hazy as the strain itself. The original Tahoe cut is commonly associated with California breeder Ganja Guru and generally treated as a selected OG Kush phenotype. A later seed version from The Cali Connection crossed that Tahoe cut with SFV OG, which helps explain why Tahoe OG is also frequently listed as an OG Kush × SFV OG cross.

The nose doesn't leave much doubt about where Tahoe OG came from. Sharp lemon and pine cut through dank earth and woody herbs before skunk and fuel come roaring up underneath. The flavor follows with citrus and pine up front before turning earthy, gassy, and properly funky on the exhale.

Tahoe OG can come out of the gate surprisingly bright for something this indica-heavy. Fans describe a happy, euphoric head rush that can feel talkative and pleasantly spacey before the heavier side starts creeping in. Give it some time and the energy drops, the body gets loose, and relaxed can turn sleepy in a hurry. Bigger sessions tend to push the experience even further toward hazy, hungry, and planted, making Tahoe OG much better suited to clearing the evening than filling the calendar.

Dense, chunky buds typically run forest green beneath orange pistils and a heavy coat of sticky trichomes, carrying the resin-heavy look that helped make OG cuts famous in the first place.

Tahoe OG grows short and squat, reaching heights of 4 feet in 8-9 weeks of indoor growing. Advanced growers should harvest from the top down, allowing lower buds to gain more light exposure.

The strain reeks long before cutting, with alpha-Pinene and humulene contributing to its signature Kush aroma.
