Sour Skunk

Sour Skunk (aka Super Sour Skunk) is a bucket list strain for anyone chasing down heritage genetics. Two breeders claim credit for this legacy-inspired sativa-dominant hybrid — Duke Diamond of Virginia-based Dominion Seed Company and the EU-based Hortilab Seeds. In both versions, the genetics are remarkably similar. Duke Diamond released Sour Skunk as a Skunk #1 cross with East Coast Sour Diesel, and HortiLab Seeds released this strain as a cross of a pre-'98 cut of Super Skunk with East Coast Sour Diesel (V3). As Duke Diamond says, this strain delivers a happy and functionally zippy buzz with a mellow body high. As you'd expect from the genetics, this is one super-skunky-smelling strain with noticeable citrusy highlights.

There's also a Sour Skunk Auto from Frost Brothers that crosses Skunk Auto with Sour Rocket 60. According to the breeder, the Sour Rocket 60 seeds sat around for a few years until he came across some Sensi Seeds Skunk Auto in-bred line seeds and crossed the two strains.
