Sunset Runtz squeezes a little extra juice out of golden hour. Sweet citrus, ripe fruit, and cream meet a tangy gas finish in this Exotic Genetix cross of Sunset Sherbet and Runtz. The flavor arrives bright; the experience often settles into something softer.
Dr. Blaze also offers a feminized release with the same named parents. That shared pairing does not guarantee identical plants, but it does keep both releases on the same branch of the family tree.
Tropical sweetness and sharp lemon give the aroma its lift, with peach or berry notes appearing in some selections. Cream rounds out the fruit, followed by earth, spicy herbs, and a faint diesel edge. There is enough tartness to cut through the sweetness and enough gas to keep dessert interesting.
Dense flowers bring their own sunset colors: olive and brighter greens mixed with purple or blue accents, orange pistils, and a conspicuous layer of resin. Some selections lean darker than others, but the frost tends to get your attention before the finer details do.
Regulars who reach for this one describe euphoric, sometimes giggly uplift with a creative or social streak. A light body tingle can deepen into fuller relaxation as the experience develops. Some stay comfortably engaged; others drift toward sleepiness. Golden hour can turn into an extended evening on the couch.
The Exotic Genetix line is documented for indoor and outdoor cultivation, with branching plants and dense, resinous flowers. Its supplied profile gives inconsistent height descriptions and does not establish a dependable breeder flowering window or numerical yield.
Dr. Blaze provides more specific figures for its feminized photoperiod release: approximately eight to nine weeks of flowering, a compact, bushy structure, and heights around three to four feet indoors or up to six feet outdoors. Its advertised yield potential is 500–600 grams per square meter indoors and up to 900 grams per plant outdoors.
Those figures belong to the Dr. Blaze release. They should not become blanket specifications for every Sunset Runtz selection.
