Shotgun Wedding
Arkansas-based NSM created the indica-leaning hybrid strain Shotgun Wedding through a complicated four-way cross: (Grease Monkey x Florida Wedding) x (Triangle Kush x Wedding Cake). This version of the strain has medium-sized nugs with dark purple undertones, forest green buds, and rust-orange hairs. Shotgun Wedding has an odd, complex flavor that is both fruit-forward and cheesy at once, with notes of earthiness.
This strain leans into its indica-heavy heritage with a high that is heady and euphoric yet incredibly relaxing. Consumers note that "time dilation is there," but you won't lose track of the day entirely — unless you fall asleep. Shotgun Wedding is well-suited for lazy afternoons and evenings when you're ready to just chill.
Origin 2: Shotgun Wedding by Twenty20
Cultivator Twenty20's version of Shotgun Wedding is a cross between Wedding Cake and Mendo Cookies. These flowers are tall and lanky, with a bakery-sweet aroma of vanilla and butter, and a spicy pop of pepper. Twenty20 has stopped selling these genetics, and this version of the strain is rare to come across.
