Scout 95 keeps its indica-sativa split a mystery, but this hybrid gives up the pepper on the first pull. Fig Farms put it into rotation in Illinois, where smokers got to know it as both whole flower and live resin.

The Illinois flower is said to pair Forum Cookies with I-95. That’s a meeting of two very different noses, the savory sweetness of the old forum cut and the sour, gassy bite of its highway namesake. In the smoke, earthy pine and a little herbal spice leave the louder impression. Think pepper mill over cookie tin.

Pass it around the circle, and the reports typically land with a happy lift and a relaxed finish. One Michigan rosin fan remembered Scout 95 chiefly for the raid on the pantry.

Fig Farms grew Scout 95 for the Illinois flower market. Flowering time, stretch, and yield for that selection remain undocumented. The cultivator also released it as live resin sugar and budder.
