Bloom describes that cut as rotten guava over fruit candy, with high stretch, a long flowering period, and strong solventless potential. Secondary strain descriptions add strawberry, pineapple, flowers, and spice to the profile, though those notes do not appear in Bloom’s current breeder copy. Sources also split on whether the cultivar leans indica or sativa, so its percentage breakdown remains unsettled.
Origin 2: Rainbow Guava by Nugs 420 is a separate cross of RS-11 and Rosso Corsa × Guava Gelato. That lineage appears in strain databases and commercial listings, but no accessible breeder page confirms its classification or characteristics. Products carrying this version of the name are commonly described as lemony and creamy, with diesel underneath and lighter traces of tropical fruit.
The reported effects attached to the Rainbow Guava name tend to start bright, social, and euphoric before settling into a dreamier body calm at higher doses. Because retailers rarely identify which genetic version they are reviewing, those notes belong to the name broadly, not automatically to both cultivars. Same name, different family trees, and no guarantee they land in the same place once the rainbow kicks in.
