Rainbow Belts comes from Archive Seed Bank, the Portland, Oregon breeding outfit founded by ThaDocta. Archive created the original line by crossing Zkittlez with Moonbow #75 and released it in 2017. Since Moonbow also descends from Zkittlez and Do-Si-Dos, the cross doubles down on the Z influence and lands squarely in candy territory. Sharp lemon-lime citrus and grapefruit hit first, followed by apricot, ripe berry, mango, and tropical fruit. Floral sweetness runs through the middle, while diesel, pepper, and earthy funk give the finish enough weight to keep it from tasting like straight sugar.
Those who passed this one around describe an early lift that feels giggly, euphoric, and ready to talk. A light tingle follows as the experience settles into a calmer, heavier body feel, giving Rainbow Belts an easy social opening with a more relaxed evening finish. The flower tends to form dense green buds that can pick up blue, purple, pink, or yellow tones late in flower, all wrapped in bright pistils and a thick coat of frosty trichomes.
Rainbow Belts sits in approachable, moderate territory, and some grow sites note it suits both first-time and experienced growers. It'll grow indoors, outdoors, or in a greenhouse, in soil or hydro, and it favors a warm, stable climate. Flowering runs roughly 65 days, or about nine weeks. Expect dense, trichome-heavy flowers with loads of color that often shade toward purple, and the 2.0 version can turn fully purple. The original 1.0 comes only as feminized seeds.
