Purple Reign

There are at least three versions of Purple Reign on the market.

Origin 1: Purple Reign by Ethos Genetics

The most common version of Purple Reign is an indica-dominant hybrid created by Ethos Genetics. The legendary breeder crossed Royal Purple Kush with Recon OG to create a flower with dense, dark-colored nugs and an aroma of sweet berries, citrus, and spicy herbs. The flower smokes as deliciously as it smells. The effects of Purple Reign are potent and relaxing — best suited for when you have nothing important to do.

Origin 2: Purple Reign by G2G Genetix

The second is by G2G Genetix, who crossed Good Dog with a hybrid cross of Pineapple Express and an unknown plant to create a hybrid version of Purple Reign that paid homage to Prince. According to G2G Genetix’s website, on the day Prince died, they “set out to create a strain commemorating his life.”

Origin 3: Purple Reign by The Bank Genetics

The third is by The Bank Genetics and is an indica-leaning hybrid that crosses Purple Urkle with Fall ‘97, resulting in a plant with intensely purple hues.
