Purple Marmalade is a balanced hybrid developed by Solfire Gardens, a Pacific Northwest seed company started in 2015. As a cross from Tropicana Cookies and another Solfire strain, Why U Gelly, this is deliciously sweet with a honey-like flavor. On the other hand, the aroma is pungent and skunky, which may be from the Kush lineage buried in the family tree. Top terpenes include limonene, linalool, and caryophyllene. Beyond the terp profile, what stands out about this strain is the purple flowers. Ground up, it's so bright it's shocking. This is a mildly stimulating strain with reportedly big artistic energy. It's been further hybridized into Mad Dog via a cross with Hood Candyz.
