Peyote Purple
Peyote Purple takes Bubba to the dark side. Cannabiogen developed this indica through generations of selection from a purple Bubba Kush phenotype, with its original listing identifying Bubba Kush S1 stock. STAFFTHC later reproduced Cannabiogen’s line in eastern Ukraine, carrying the family forward rather than introducing an unrelated cross.
Earth and incense land with sweetness, while some selections throw out mango, licorice, or a metallic, shampoo-like edge. Vanilla and hash notes also turn up in tasting accounts. Purple is the color story here, not a promise of grape flavor. This is an old-school Kush profile with a strange little perfume collection.
Those who have taken it from dispensary to session describe everything from a gentle head lift to a heavier, deeply relaxed finish. Some find it comfortable and social; others settle into a Netflix binge.
Cannabiogen developed Peyote Purple through successive selections from Bubba Kush S1 stock. Its original specifications list approximately eight to nine weeks of flowering and medium yields. STAFFTHC’s regular-seed reproduction lists roughly 55 days. Both describe photoperiod plants; these figures cover flowering, not the entire growing cycle.
Plants can express compact growth with broad fan leaves or a taller, stretchier structure. Purple to nearly black foliage and pronounced trichome coverage distinguish the line, with resin extending onto surrounding leaves. Grower accounts describe variable yields, sometimes slow vegetative growth, and branches that bend under heavier flowers. Its reputation rests more securely on color and resin than consistently large harvests.
