Lemon Alien Dawg

aka L.A.D., LAD

18 to 25 percent THC range

Lemon Alien Dawg is an Alien Genetics original that crosses an Alien Dawg F1 female with a Lemon Kush male. The selected Alien Dawg was the Cherry phenotype, itself descended from Chemdawg D and Afghan-rooted Alien Technology. Lemon Kush brings another layer of Kush and lemon-heavy genetics to the family tree. The result is a 60/40 indica-leaning hybrid that later became serious breeding stock in the Alien family.

Lemon comes in loud, but this isn't lemonade. Sharp citrus, lemon peel, and sweet tropical fruit crash into Chem fuel, earth, Kush, and a slightly rotten-fruit funk. Break apart the chunky, resin-heavy flowers and the sweeter side gets dirtier, with diesel and loamy earth keeping the citrus from turning into candy.

Serious smokers describe an energetic, euphoric cerebral lift that keeps some focus and creativity intact before a looser sense of relaxation works its way underneath. That split personality fits the genetics: plenty of Chem and lemon brightness upstairs, with Kush and Afghan weight underneath.

Lemon Alien Dawg produces slightly indica-leaning, medium-to-tall plants with dense bushes that benefit from early topping and regular pruning. The cultivar's hardiness allows it to thrive in indoor and outdoor settings, though its light and nutrient requirements may call for an intermediate level of experience. Lemon Alien Dawg flowers in 56 to 63 days indoors and by mid-to-late October outside. In ideal conditions, the cultivar yields about 12 ounces of bud per plant, a below-average yield.
