Kilimanjaro is an African landrace sativa that was originally grown on the Kenyan slopes at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Kilimanjaro is native to Kenya and Tanzania where it has long been cultivated and used for hunting and religious purposes. It is best grown outdoors in a very hot climate or in a greenhouse setting, as the plants tend to be quite tall. These plants require a longer flowering period, 63 to 70 days when grown indoors, or a November harvest when grown outdoors. Kilimanjaro plants produce a generous yield.
