JOMO

aka Garlic Jelly, Jmo, Jomo The Hutt, Joy of Missing Out

JOMO — short for “Joy of Missing Out” — is an indica-dominant hybrid with at least two distinct lineages circulating under the same name.

Origin 1: GMO Cookies x Jelly Breath – The most widely cited version crosses GMO Cookies with Jelly Breath and is available as a clone-only cut with no confirmed breeder of record.

Origin 2: GMO Cookies x Sugar Shack – A second version, bred by Schwale of Farmhouse Studio Genetics, crosses GMO Cookies with Sugar Shack and was developed specifically for hash production and solventless extraction. Both share that unmistakable GMO backbone, but the second parent changes the story — and the smoke — considerably.

Reviewers describe an opening wave of euphoria that settles into deep, full-body relaxation, with many noting a spike in appetite along the way. The aroma leans pungent and savory — garlic, diesel, and earthy funk from the GMO side — layered with sweet berry and grape notes that vary depending on which lineage you’re smoking. Fans of this strain often highlight its dense, trichome-heavy buds and a creamy, spicy exhale that lingers well after the session.

JOMO is a moderate-difficulty strain that reaches medium height indoors — expect a 1.4x to 1.8x stretch after flipping to flower — and finishes in roughly eight to nine weeks. It’s suited to both indoor and outdoor environments, preferring warm conditions around 72–80°F with humidity in the 40–50% range. Yields run large, and the plant produces dense, conical buds blanketed in bulbous trichomes. Phenotypes range from lime-green with faint lavender shadows to deeper olive-green with purple undertones and bright tangerine pistils.
