Diamond Dust has two breeder versions, and the fine print goes deeper than the frost.
Origin 1: Beyond Top Shelf Seeds crosses OGKB with Crunchberries for its indica-dominant Diamond Dust. A thick trichome coat gives the flowers their namesake sparkle. The family tree includes Cookies and Blueberry ancestry, but a dependable flavor profile and THC range aren’t established for this release. The original Crunchberries parent also shouldn’t automatically inherit the details of every similarly named Crunch Berry strain.
Origin 2: Clade9’s Diamond Dust is commonly identified as Sour Bubble × Double Dream, developed in East Los Angeles in 2014. Its current lineage listing also names Sour Lemon Haze and Bubblegum without explaining their placement in the cross. Lemon, earthy sweetness, and herbal notes give this version its character, with pepper and gas appearing in flower descriptions. Clade9 advertises approximately 30% total THC for its offering. “Moderately potent” undersells that particular bag.
Clade9’s Diamond Dust draws reports of uplift, energy, and tingling alongside physical relaxation. Beyond Top Shelf’s version has too little clearly attributed feedback to assign it the same experience. The sparkle gets attention; it doesn’t settle the effects.
Origin 1: Beyond Top Shelf’s regular seed line is documented for indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse cultivation, with approximately 60–65 days of flowering. Its conspicuous trichome coverage is a defining flower trait. Mature height and numerical yield aren’t established in the available description.
Origin 2: Clade9 describes resinous flowers but does not provide a complete public grow specification in its current product description. A verified flowering window, mature height, and yield remain unconfirmed. Beyond Top Shelf’s finishing schedule applies only to that breeder’s line.
