Hot Tamales

Hot Tamales is the name of at least four different documented hybrids. Like its namesake, these strains have made such a strong impression that they’ve quickly run to the top of the menu, gaining popularity and producing several notable descendants.

Origin 1: Balanced Hybrid (Cannarado Genetics): One of the better-documented Hot Tamales strains is from Cannarado, a cross of Gushers with their own White Fire OG pheno. Both parent strains are celebrated for their potency and excellent trichome production.

Origin 2: Balanced Hybrid (Clearwater Genetics): A balanced crossing of Gelatti and Runtz, Clearwater’s Hot Tamales is known for its sweet flavor, upbeat but relaxed high, and strong overall potency. Thanks to its ancestry, this variety is sometimes known as Hot Tamales Candy.

Origin 3: Balanced Hybrid (Mosca Seeds): Reportedly bred from a combo of Blue Cookies and Mimosa, Mosca’s Hot Tamales strain is especially hard to come by but appears to have had popularity, especially in the greater Michigan cannabis community.

Origin 4: Indica-Leaning Hybrid (Slanted Farms Seed Company): Developed by crossing Caramel Candy Kush and Fire OG, Slanted Farms offers their own popular indica-leaning variety of Hot Tamales. Still a mostly well-rounded smoking experience, their Hot Tamales hybrid already has several popular descendants (like Hot Cookies and Stephen Curry).
