Ghost OG

Ghost OG is one of the old-school cuts that helped turn OG Kush into a California dynasty, but the name now covers both the original clone and a later seed line from Apothecary Genetics.

Origin 1: The original Ghost OG is a clone-only phenotype of OG Kush, commonly called the Ghost cut. Cannabis lore traces the name to the old OverGrow forums, where breeder OrgnKid reportedly passed an OG Kush cutting to a grower known as Ghost. The cut kept his name and went on to become breeding stock for a long list of OG-family cultivars.

Origin 2: Apothecary Genetics later used the original Ghost OG cut as the female in a cross with Joe's OG Kush, creating a seed-grown Ghost OG line. Joe's OG Kush itself comes out of the SFV OG side of the OG family, making Apothecary's version an OG-on-OG affair rather than the origin of the original Ghost cut.

Ghost OG wears its family name proudly. Diesel, pine, earth, and sharp citrus dominate, backed by woody herbs and peppery spice. Dense green flowers typically carry bright orange pistils beneath a thick coat of trichomes, giving the strain the frosted look that helped make classic OG cuts dispensary royalty.
