Forest Fire

aka Forest Fire OG

Forest Fire isn't one strain — it's two sets of genetics expressed in smoke. Same name, different blaze, and depending on which cut you score, you're either puffing on verified NorCal OG lineage or an uncredited heatwave that somehow made its way into dispensary rotations. Either way, expect flames.

Origin 1: Forest Fire by Cabin Fever Seed Breeders

The documented version comes from Cabin Fever Seed Breeders, a small Northern California collective founded in 2010 by three growers who preferred the mountains to marketing. Their Forest Fire crosses NorCal Fire OG, a clone-only cut, with Headband BX, later dubbed Yeti OG. Lead breeder Freak reportedly calls it his desert-island strain and daily painkiller. Cabin Fever's cut grows short, dense, and unapologetically resinous. Even the fan leaves frost up with ripe trichomes, making it a go-to for hashmakers. The smoke lands kush-heavy with that signature Pine-Sol funk OG lovers chase, and the burn finishes clean with earthy spice. It's the kind of flower that smells like trouble and smokes like therapy.

Origin 2: Forest Fire by unknown breeder

The second Forest Fire floating around the market trades the NorCal backstory for mystery lineage. Listed as Yeti OG x Fire Alien Kush, this cut pops up often on menus but with zero breeder credit. It's an orphaned hybrid that still earns attention on name alone. This version leans indica with pine, honeysuckle, and peppery spice on the nose. Pinene leads the terpene lineup, keeping things bright and woody, while caryophyllene and myrcene round it out with grounding warmth. Potency sits between 20-23% THC, sometimes with a tick of CBG for extra body buzz. Smokers describe a fast, heady onset that melts into full-body calm — energetic up front and sedative on the fade.

Forest Fire proves not every blaze starts from the same spark. One is a mountain-bred OG with receipts; the other's a ghost strain that showed up and refused to leave. Both earn the name because no matter which version you light, something's getting torched.
