Forbidden Guava

Forbidden Guava is a flavorful strain created by Nugs 420. This indica-leaning hybrid was bred by combining a Forbidden Fruit cutting (courtesy of Purple City Genetics, a top 20 trending strain in 2019 according to High Times) with an in-house cross of Rosso Corsa and Guava Gelato.

Though some identify Forbidden Guava as a cross of Stardawg and Afghani, this may be the result of confusion over the strain’s deep genetic history, which heavily features both Chemdawg and Afghani-influenced ancestors. Others describe a distinct flavor profile with more spicy and funky mango-banana notes, so it may also be a varietal with overlapping ancestry.

According to fans, the Nugs 420 strain has a bright flavor with strong notes of tropical berry and sour fruit, like grapefruit, cherry, and lime. Both varieties are reportedly indica-leaning, though the Nugs 420 flower appears to be a more well-rounded option for smokers of all experience levels.
