Cherry Malt

As a newer strain entering the market, Cherry Malt is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain made by crossing indica-leaning Wedding Cake and balanced hybrid Kush Mints strains. Exact origins aren't clear but many signs point to MSO Verano.

Terps are light in this strain — smaller amounts of caryophyllene and myrcene give the Cherry Malt strain a mild vanilla scent and peppery fruit and mint taste when smoked. Cherry Malt buds are on the smaller side, dense, aquamarine and neon green in color, and speckled with blue tinted crystal trichomes, especially on the leaf edges. Users say this strain has a strong, fast-acting high that immediately pushes away negative thoughts and relaxes a racing brain. This high settles into comfortable sedation as the session goes on, and by the last toke, you'll feel your worries disappear as your body melts into the seams of your couch. As such, this strain is best used at night.
