Blue Zushi turned Z terps into a luxury item. Bred from Zkittlez and Kush Mints, the indica-leaning hybrid became a calling card for Southern California's The Ten Co, whose prized cut helped push the strain into connoisseur territory.
The nose starts sweet and fruity, piling berry, tropical candy, and citrus over mint, earth, spice, and a gassy finish. Its bag appeal hits just as hard, with dense green flowers capable of showing deep blue and purple undertones beneath a thick wash of trichomes. Blue Zushi doesn't exactly do subtle. It shows up dressed for bottle service.
Regulars who reach for this one describe a euphoric, tingly lift that gradually settles into a calmer full-body buzz. The hype came with hardware: Blue Zushi took Best Overall and Best Tasting Flower at the 2023 California Zalympix, along with second place for Best Terps. Zkittlez brought the candy. Reliable cultivation details for the original Blue Zushi cut are limited, and much of what circulates commercially comes through closely held genetics rather than a standardized seed release. Grow information attached to recreations and similarly named seed lines shouldn't automatically be treated as instructions for the original cut.
