Apple Kush is a hybrid with a hazy family tree, but one version has considerably more evidence behind it than the rest.

Origin 1: The best-documented Apple Kush crosses Pure Kush with Sour Diesel, bringing Kush earth and herbs together with Sour Diesel's sharper fuel and funk. The aroma runs earthy and sour with diesel, peppery herbs, and a touch of floral sweetness, while the flavor brings the name home with tart green apple and sweet fruit. Dense forest-green buds carry orange pistils beneath a frosty coat of trichomes.

Origin 2: Another Apple Kush is attributed to Pure OG genetics, though its breeder and exact lineage remain poorly documented. With multiple versions circulating under the same name, Apple Kush can shift considerably from one grower to the next.

Across the better-documented cuts, users tend to call out a quick tingle followed by an easygoing mix of euphoria and relaxation. Some find enough uplift in the early stretch to keep things social or daytime-friendly, while others note a sleepier finish once the Kush side starts settling in.

Apple Kush is a sativa-leaning hybrid with tall, sturdy plants that thrive with Screen of Green training. The cultivar grows well both indoors and outside, preferring Mediterranean-like climates and plenty of sun. Apple Kush flowers in seven to nine weeks indoors or early October outside, producing 18 ounces of bud per plant.

Apple Kush is available as seeds and clones.
