Though 5 Alive is mostly indica, it produces short-to-medium size plants with thick stems and sturdy side branches, like a sativa. The cultivar grows well in both indoor and outdoor environments, preferring moderate humidity and cooler temperatures. Breeders can tease out 5 Alive’s violet coloring by exposing the plant to cold nighttime temperatures right before flowering. 5 Alive reaches maturity in 60 to 70 days indoors and by mid-October outside.
