Mini Pre-rolls 

Smoking a mini pre-roll is similar to smoking a regular pre-rolled joint, but you’ll likely smoke a mini pre-roll in just a few hits. After you remove your mini pre-roll from its packaging, put the filter end of the pre-roll in your mouth and light the opposite end. Once the mini pre-roll is properly lit, you inhale deeply and slowly, holding the smoke in long enough to get the full effects of the THC. Mini pre-rolls typically contain a quarter-gram of weed up to a half-gram or slightly more. Because they’re so small, they usually come in mini pre-roll packs.

Small joints, or mini pre-rolls, are sometimes called “pinners” or “dogwalkers,” the latter being because they can usually be smoked in the time it takes to walk your dog. 

It’s best to keep your mini pre-roll in its original packaging and store it in a cool, dry place until you’re ready to smoke it. Too much heat or cold can degrade the quality of the cannabis. Make sure your pre-rolls aren’t exposed to too much air to preserve the cannabinoids within the cannabis. If you’re smoking your pre-roll and need to put it out before finishing it, store it back in its original container. Just be sure to spark it back up sooner rather than later so it doesn’t dry out or lose potency.

Mini pre-rolls expire like vapes, edibles, topicals, and some tinctures. If properly stored, they have a shelf life of around six months from their purchase date. If your mini pre-roll contains premium flower, it will likely last longer than a pre-roll filled with lower-quality flower.

Pre-rolls and mini-pre-rolls are essentially the same thing, but mini pre-rolls are smaller and contain less weed. Both versions are made by wrapping ground indica, sativa, or hybrid flower in joint rolling paper and finishing it with a filter tip. Like regular infused pre-rolls, you can find mini pre-rolls infused with concentrates like live resin, kief, and diamonds.
