A pre-filled container of cannabis oil or concentrate designed for use with an e-cigarette or vape rig. Weed cartridges, or “carts,” are offered in multiple formats, from 510-threaded cartridges that twist onto a battery to pods that magnetically snap into place. Pre-filled vape cartridges built with ceramic tanks run less of a risk of ruining the flavor, as they do not rely on a wick or metallic coil to vaporize the oil.

THC Cartridge vs. CBD Cartridge

The difference between a THC oil cartridge and a CBD oil cartridge lies in the basic differences between THC and CBD. THC is a psychoactive compound that elicits the feeling of being high whereas CBD does not. A cartridge that contains a higher ratio of CBD to THC may not get you high, but it could offer strong medicinal benefits depending on the varieties of cannabis present. Cartridges are available in many flavors, including  lavender vanilla, strawberry lemonade, and many others.

Pre-filled Vape Cartridges vs. DIY Dab Carts

The main difference between pre-filled vape cartridges and DIY dab carts is that the pre-filled pens are much easier to use than the more complicated do-it-yourself dab carts. With the press of a button on a pre-filled vape cartridge, you're on your way. Dab carts need to be manually inserted into your dab pen, which makes the process somewhat more time consuming. However, both pre-filled vape cartridges and dab carts may offer similar effects.
