Introduction

We are doing after-hours appointments. Telemedicine will be legally available in August. We think that we have the absolute best service in the state and that you will be more than pleased ! Call today to certify or recertify. There are NO HIDDEN FEES.....we tell you EXACTLY how it is!

The Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016 allowed patients for the first time to have this alternative medicine and treatment option for some of our more challenging conditions. At the Murphy Clinic we believe in promoting the responsible use of this "old-but-new" treatment and in providing personal, over-the-top and compassionate service to every patient.

Unlike some other certification clinics, our focus is on medicine rather than business and opportunism. We operate a complete clinic whose only expertise is in medical cannabis certification and we have a firm and longstanding presence in the local medical community. We carefully review medical records and conduct an individual face-to-face interview with each patient, with the aim of being certain that each is medically and legally qualified for the benefits of cannabis.

Dr. Kenneth Murphy attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, received his M.D. degree from UAMS and completed a general internship and surgical residency at UAMS. He was a practicing general surgeon in Malvern from 1982 until 1987 and in Conway from 1987 until 2009. At Conway Regional he served as the Medical Director of the Physician Hospital Organization, as a long-term member of the Performance Improvement Committee and as Chief of Staff. Since retiring from surgery in 2009 he has worked as a Medical Director, a Physician Advisor and a Chief Medical Officer for various organizations. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership.

Pattie Murphy was educated at the University of Arkansas Little Rock (UALR). She received a Registered Nurse (RN) degree and later an RN Practitioner degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She worked on the surgical ward, in the surgical Intensive Care Unit and in the Burn Unit. In private practice she served as a nurse and Office Manager for Dr. Murphy. She has extensive knowledge of office practice, insurance and the business side of medical practice, and spent many years volunteering in the Conway schools, working in community organizations and raising three outstanding children.
