I had my doctor's office forward medical records over and they called me to schedule the session. I left feeling informed about how I wanted my first dispensary visit to go. The 1-on-1 portion was great and allowed me to know what products I wanted to sample first.

Bad experience.

I emailed my doc and tried to get an increase in mg halfway thru my last rec and was sent a discharge letter in response. She is very unprofessional and her only knowledge of mmj seems to be the 2 hour course they take. I was told shatter was inappropriate and not medicine even though the dispo sells it. 🤔🤔 I had to scramble to find a new dr. And spend money i didnt have and needed for bills and medication. Stay away from southern comfort. Treasurecoastmedicalmarijuana is much better option

Thank you for your comment. The Medical Director at southern Comfort Mariuana Clinic is one of the most experienced cannabis physicians in the state. When she took her initial cannabis course, it was 8 hours long, not the current 2 hour course that is required for the state required course for cannabis physicians. Additionally, the course that the state of Florida provides for cannabis physicians is insufficient on providing the science and value that medical cannabis provides patients. Dr. McCain at Southern Comfort Marijuana Clinic went above and beyond her call by spending thousands of hours researching the medical benefits of cannabis. We encourage other physicians to do the same instead of relying on a short course that the state provides only teaching state regulation.
